Hmmm, where have I heard this before?

Oh yeah, that's right.

Also, it's a little creepy that they ask which human organ I will eat next at the end of the video.  How did they know?

*Laughs maniacally*

SH members, being entirely male and thus unable to enjoy the breast-related benefits of citrus, actually grow a specialised organ over time due to exposure to internet radiation.

This grapefruit organism serves to excrete the bitter, bitter bile we produce while arguing with whehraboos or about the correct way to slice fruit.

Something just occurred to me about the circular runways.  The entire point is that the pilot can approach the circle at any tangent and thereby avoid having to land into a crosswind, right?

But the pictures show the circle being so small that the banking angle significantly affects the wingtip clearance.  My recollection is that 747s do not slow down quickly.

So, fairly quickly, as the plane goes around in a circle, it's going to change heading and be in a crosswind.

A little physics is a dangerous thing. The designer's website (http://www.cloudsao.com/ANALEMMA-TOWER) is pretty obsessed with worship as well, which is odd

I just got around to watching this.  Clearly, I need to get better at computer rendering so I too, can pitch ridiculously idiotic ideas to Tech Insider.

Back-of-the-envelope says that this thing will be moving at an average of north of 300 MPH, but due to the shape of the path I think it will be slower at some times and faster at others.  How exactly does he propose to dock with something that's going that fast?

I note also that orbital boosting of the host asteroid and differential tidal forces (space elevators could work because they are being pulled in two directions at once, this pile of fail isn't) are simply not addressed, most likely because the person who came up with this doesn't realize that they exist.

Denver to Vail in 9 minutes: Colorado route a finalist for Hyperloop One high-speed travel network

How do you know this is a bullshit idea?

Part of their plan is to make a hyperloop tube go through the mountains and into Vail. From Denver.

That just screams "Hey, rich people! Throw money at us!"

Nothing says Fuck The System like your very own $375 Anarchist jacket.

(Note: Alpha Industries military inspired m-65 field jacket is imported and made of a 50-50 cotton/nylon canvas blend with 65 percent polyester lining. Also it is Dry Clean only).

...

...

Now back in my day, us Gen X kids would just go down to the thrift store and buy an Army surplus jacket for about $15 (or less) which would also get you that flannel, an ironic t-shirt, and a pair of work pants. Another $5 or $10 would get you a used pair of combat boots. And you'd fuck around with it with a sharpie during History class.

But millennials...

(Or whatever we're supposed to call Not Gen Y these days).

*Cough, cough* Target demographic.

So? That just means some drug-addled Boomer thought it was a good idea. Doesn't mean anyone's buying, and it certainly doesn't mean "Millenials" as a cohort are.

whoever millennials are now

We're still Millenials. The generation after us (birth dates beginning in the early/mid 1990s) is Generation Z/Post-Millenials/Centennials/iGen/Millenials 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Some sort of strange brain parasite hit the population in the early 1980s, and everyone afflicted is unable to tell the difference in age between any two people younger than them, leading to literally everyone born after 1982 being called "Millenials", even if the parents of some of those people are themselves Millenials.

Wait is 1982 really the cutoff date?

If so...

*Does the I'm not a Millenial happy Dan.... Oh wait! Hang on a second I gotta check something...*

Nope, no fucks to give...

Damn
