Iranians love to name weapons "Heidar". Heidar-5 is BTR-60-based minelayering vehicle, Heidar-6 is BTR-60 with BMP-1 turret and this is 12.7 Heidar anti-material rifle.

If the military goes full suppressor, I'm thinking reflex designs will make a comeback. These days the AE/OI suppressors are considered dated (though I can't really think why, besides the AE/OI suppressors being fairly heavy), but if you can get a compact suppressor with good sound reduction, that sounds like a win to me.

I tend to shill for Delta P design's Brevis suppressors and reflex suppressors in general whenever the topic of a pure fleet suppressor effort comes up.

 

Really, either of the two approaches (or a hybrid approach that involves printing a reflex suppressor version of the brevis design right onto the damn barrel if it comes down to it!) would work phenomenally decently!
