LoooSeR
https://www.kalashnikov.ru/titanovye-elbrusy/?tg_rhash=b98c9a7f543430 NII Stali made a titanium helmet "Elbrus" and it is in production now. The titanium armored helmet "Elbrus-T" in the "B" version with an medium trimming of the contour went into the serial production Quote The line of Elbrus-T titanium armored helmets consists of three models with different functionality and protection area. Protection class is Br 2. All versions of Elbrus-T (A, B and V) are equipped with a modern suspension system with the ability to quickly adjust and fastening elements (side rails and "shroud") for installing additional equipment on the helmet (lights, cameras, optical devices, etc.) .). Quote The lightest model "A" (full contour trimming) weighs 1.6 kg (11.6 dm²), while the heavy version "V" (deep contour trimming) is equipped with a visor (protection class Br 1), with which it has a mass of 3 .3 kg with a total protection area of 19 dm². "Elbrus-T" in version "B" (medium trimming of the contour) with an area of 12.2 dm² (weight 1.8 kg) was launched into mass production. The visor can be installed on it optionally, with mounting on the side rails, while the helmet "V" has hinges integrated into the helmet dome for this. Titanium armored helmet "Elbrus-T" in version "V" is equipped with a visor and provides the largest area of protection (compared to options "A" and "B") Quote Compared to composite armored helmets, titanium Elbrus-T provides better resistance to fragments of natural fragmentation, which, unlike the spherical projectiles used in armor tests, have a random shape with numerous cutting edges. In addition, the titanium helmet are more durable and require less care.
