Really? What is wrong with it?

Where to start?  First off, it's three hours long.  It should be 100 minutes, tops.  It's just really self-indulgent film making.  At one point in the film, rather than just doing a quick scene showing us what has happened, Tarantino's voice actually interrupts the film as a narrator explaining what is happening.  You know, like how they used to do that during episodes of Dukes of Hazzard.  There is plenty of violence but it's not interesting or entertaining (unlike in other Tarantino films.)  The whole things feels like a play adapted for the screen, and not in a good way.  This film desperately needed someone to step in and edit it down to a reasonable length.  Also, it would help if the characters were remotely likable or had any depth.  Or if the story actually made any sense or had anything to say other than "look at these terrible people!"  Despite having a soundtrack by Ennio Mariconne, it's most certainly not a classic Western.

Are you saying Quentin Tarantino has crossed the George Lucas threshold?
