SAA continues to expand the buffer zone around Palmyra.

 

The strategic initiative seems to have switched entirely to the SAA and their allies.  ISIS can still launch offensives, but they fighting on several fronts so that limits their manpower.  If a large number of ISIS personnel escape after Mosul and Raqqa, perhaps they will re-start large attacks.

 

Meanwhile, HTS and other moderate headchoppers seem totally unable to mount a successful offensive.  Their Hama campaign about a month ago seems to have accomplished little except bleeding a lot of their manpower and equipment.  A siege of the rebel stronghold of Lataminah seems likely in the near future.
