LostCosmonaut
I get why they issued an AD, but I'd bet something else is going to break first if you leave the thing on for eight months.

LostCosmonaut
A couple days ago, a Challenger 604 hit A380 wake turbulence at high altitude. It rolled 3-5 times and was written off upon landing; http://flightservicebureau.org/this-is-what-an-airbus-380-looks-like-when-its-coming-to-get-you/ Interior photo:

LostCosmonaut
Air Canada flight nearly pulls off the Reverse Tenerife, makes it with about 4 feet to spare; https://www.theguardian.com/business/2017/aug/03/air-canada-near-miss-picture-shows-how-close-planes-came-to-crashing For reference, wiki says that the height of a 787 (one of the planes on the taxiway) is 55 feet 10 inches. Vs 59 foot minimum height for the Air Canada plane.

Really, really arrogant, and just convinced that "the air exists for them". Treated the maintenance staff like shit. Complete contrast to the Japanese I'd encounter.
