Honestly, I've had more fun this past year rubbing dirt into the face of every #NeverTrump Republican who voted against the President because he wasn't "conservative" enough and didn't jerk off each evening to a picture of William F. Buckley. I've been skimming over the tax bill as passed and I kind of like it. Gotta head out and work on my house so can't fisk it fully.

    Bash the Pak-Fa thread

The Su-57 has potential to be upgraded into a sixth generation fighter. Does it really count as an upgrade when there aren't production airframes to upgrade? (also, new poster. Hi.)

Never mind that the British SAS had acquired 5,000 AR-15 in 1965, and put them to use almost immediately in Borneo. Never mind that they ordered another 13,000, circa 1967.

I still want to see the unsolicited Brunswick SAW. https://www.google.com/patents/US4066000 For that matter, I'd also like to get more information on the Springfield and AAI belt-fed machineguns chambered for SPIW cartridges.

there is no contest, there is a question of how U.S. can claim anything about victory over Isis, the US coalition was not working towards destruction of ISIS in Syria, but expansion of less independent-minded jihadists. Raqqa deal, airstrikes on SAA positions in besieged Deir EzZor and cruise missile strike on Shairat AB benefited no one except ISIS. And I even didn't started to talk about origins of that noble organisation.

Sturgeon's SAW post on TFB got me thinking about the XM248 and an idea of mine. Here are a few relevant XM248 documents and links. Somebody needs to find one and give Ian a call.
