He rambled to the 911 call taker, making comments such as "Kill me, kill me, I can't live in this reality," and "God told me he was a lizard." "I hate myself more than you know," one post read, which prosecutors date Jan. 3. "I'm going to spend eternity in the worst part of hell. ... 6. Cars, Planes, and Dames! Although I recall some older relative(s) who owned one stating that the push-button PowerFlite transmissions were problematic. Also you gotta love that portable record player. I wonder what the .45s look like after a bumpy ride?
  7. A fairly detailed bit of journalism produced by The Sun-Sentinel newspaper detailing the failures of the Broward County Sheriffs Office and school employees in reacting to the Parkland Shooting. http://projects.sun-sentinel.com/2018/sfl-parkland-school-shooting-critical-moments/?fbclid=IwAR1xyk1pqX69zqGoIGDoZ6A70Ov9c4gBsL3R6_rywr_KE1bt6UvvwjCY1dc Craven cowardice and incompetence on display. Although the local Coral Springs officers seemed to have reacted appropriately. A useful learning tool.

  9. Of greater interest, FINALLY video proof that a Tier 8 tank has been top tier in a WoT match, and not jammed with Tier 10s like what happens 9 out of 10 games.
  10. 240Z was a good car for what it was.
  11. The plan was simple: Steal tools and pawn them for money. They didn’t expect to be surrounded by about six customers with guns raised. https://www.heraldnet.com/news/the-plan-was-to-steal-tools-then-customers-drew-their-guns/ “He won’t shoot, run him over,” one of the suspects reportedly said. The driver pulled forward, causing the man confronting him to land on the hood, court papers say. Another customer shot at the driver’s side front tire, according to documents. A third fired twice at the rear tire. Someone shot at the car one more time as it left the parking lot, records show. ... Marysville police Cmdr. Mark Thomas on Monday said it’s unclear if the other people involved fired their guns lawfully, as they left before law enforcement got there. Security footage showed one of them getting in a vehicle just as the first officer arrived, Thomas said. “Anytime you’re firing a weapon in a public place, especially a few days before Christmas in a crowded parking lot, it is a grave concern,” Thomas said. The department is asking those who shot at the car to come forward and provide statements. ... (Yeah, fuck that.)
  12. Hence the bit about the news coverage. Also, the fact that the "top us envoy in fight against ISIS" is resigning over it as well. https://www.politico.com/story/2018/12/22/trump-syria-us-envoy-resignation-1074300
  13. I've read the letter. And I've been reading the news coverage. It seems that Syria/Afghanistan is the main sticking point.
  14. @Walter_Sobchak if one believes the news coverage, the issue is the SecDef disagrees with the President over Afghanistan and Syria. Having effectively destroyed ISIS, what objective at the operational and strategic level requires having US troops on the ground in Syria? After extending the deployment of troops in Afghanistan for two years, what objectives were achieved and what purpose does having military personnel serve which hasn't already been tried for 17 years and trillions of dollars. Trump campaigned on defeating ISIS and bringing the Aghanistan War to a close. So if it's a choice of keeping the SecDef or bringing those conflicts to a close, it shouldn't be a surprise that the second option has been chosen.
  15. What? Well, Secretary of War Harry Woodring was fired in 1936 by FDR because he was an isolationist. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Hines_Woodring#Career A strict non-interventionist, Woodring came under pressure from other cabinet members to resign in the first year of World War II. Secretary of the Interior Harold Ickes met with Roosevelt at least twice to call for Woodring's firing, but FDR was at first unwilling to do so, instead appointing outspoken interventionist Louis A. Johnson as Woodring's assistant secretary of war. Woodring and Johnson were immediately at odds, and quickly reached the point where they refused to speak to each other.[8] On June 20, 1940, Roosevelt ended the struggle by finally firing Woodring, replacing him with long-time Republican politician Henry Stimson.[9] Woodring remained isolationist, opposing the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940. ... And Secretary of War Lindley Garrison was forced to resign by Woodrow Wilson in 1916 because he was an interventionist. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lindley_Miller_Garrison Garrison and Wilson never fit well together. Garrison was much more willing to intervene militarily overseas than was the President. This was especially evident in regard to Mexico. Garrison urged American intervention into the Mexican revolution to restore order. During the Preparedness campaign of 1916, when Wilson was trying to convince Congress to raise military spending, Garrison supported a plan for expanding the US military with what he called the Continental Army Plan. Garrison’s proposal would establish a standing army of 140,000 and a national, volunteer reserve force of 400,000 men. Wilson initially gave the plan tepid support, but Garrison ran into opposition from both those who felt his plan went too far in creating a large standing army, as well as from those who felt it did not go far enough. Wilson was convinced by allies in Congress to back an alternative plan which emphasized not Garrison’s national volunteer force, but a continued role for the states’ National Guard. Garrison resigned in February 1916 over these differences ... ... But wait, there's more! Andrew Jacksons ENTIRE FUCKING CABINET was forced to resign because of the fact that the Secretary of War John H Eaton married a whore and none of the respectable women in Washington would sit in the same room with her. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petticoat_affair

  17. No surprise to those of us in the know. But still... Cops and schools had no duty to shield students in Parkland shooting, says judge who tossed lawsuit https://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/broward/parkland/florida-school-shooting/fl-ne-douglas-survivor-lawsuit-federal-judge-20181217-story.html A federal judge says Broward schools and the Sheriff’s Office had no legal duty to protect students during the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. U.S. District Judge Beth Bloom dismissed a suit filed by 15 students who claimed they were traumatized by the crisis in February. The suit named six defendants, including the Broward school district and the Broward Sheriff’s Office, as well as school deputy Scot Peterson and campus monitor Andrew Medina. Bloom ruled that the two agencies had no constitutional duty to protect students who were not in custody.
  18. Penny Marshall, white nationalist, and star of "Laverne and Shirley" dead https://newsok.com/article/feed/7966548/actress-and-director-penny-marshall-dies-at-age-75 The Alt-Right oriented show presaged the 2016 election by celebrating two blue-collar Deplorables working a blue-collar job in a brewery in the Trump swing-state of Wisconsin.
  19. And meanwhile, robot hippies at Berkeley are such burn-outs that they literally burn out of control. https://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Delivery-robot-catches-fire-at-UC-Berkeley-13470063.php "HEY FUCK NUT, GETOUTTADAWAY!!!" But at least the robot got a candle-light vigil out of it from the University's Asian chicks.
  20. But here's the fantasy world that the Left is living in. The Left and the Press and the Democratic Party generally believe that the Russians bribed Donald Trump who has a networth of $3 billion dollars... with a $50 million real estate deal in moscow... in order for him to be President... when during the time this occurred polling had him at less than 1 percent if he was even included on a poll at all... to run as a Republican... for the sole purpose of... Something?... Like, what do the Russians even think they're getting out of the deal given that Trump has bombed their client states to shit in Syria and has put even more sanctions on their economy... but the yeah, the Russians bribed Trump to be President... and they accomplished ALL of this by purchasing $60,000 in Facebook advertising... and Trump went along with this because... reasons? Occam's Razor But yeah, a campaign adviser who was foisted onto Trump for a couple months because the GOP Establishment thought Trump needed his Rolodex in order to run the Convention and whom Trump promptly fired was convicted of crimes not even involving the President or his Administration. And Flynn got caught in a perjury trap which is even as we type getting the stink eye from the Federal judge in charge of the case and will likely be thrown out. Bravo Democrats. I'm surprised the Left hasn't gone the IRS route harder though, because Obama made no bones at all about siccing the IRS on his political opponents during his Administration.
  21. Question: What were the Clinton's per diem and net worth prior to 1992? What is it today? Question 2: What were the Obama's per diem and net worth prior to 2008? What is it today? Question 3: Do you seriously believe Trump's net worth is going to grow once he's out of office?
