  1. Or the Philly shooter who had multiple felonies, including ones related to firearms, but was still on the street and had zero issues "acquiring" what he wanted to kill cops with. Gun laws (by design) only keep weapons out of the hands of the honest .
  2. Good luck getting that passed. Involving "voting" that is. "Mandatory National Background Checks" in order to exercise one right, but you dare not do the same for another. Welcome to crazyland.
  3. There used to be everything from "poll taxes" to "Poll testing". Amusingly enough, the majority were conceived and utilized in mostly Democratic areas.
  4. Taxing "rights" and the unfettered exercise of them is a good way to start a civil war in this country. I'm still amazed how long this nation has put up with the '34 GCA . A side note, many places used to tax voting, for the same reason many politicians want to restrict firearms.
  5. Something about burned up cargo planes that just makes me cringe a bit.
  6. When push comes to shove, expect "Red Flag" laws to get macerated and shat out in appeals. They step on/abrogate far too many Constitutionally "guaranteed" rights in the mad dash to "do something".
  7. Before I put mu collection on Ebay, is there any subject someone is looking for? Most of my stuff is weird Japanese market military aircraft, and some WW2 era "solid" models. A few bits of armor. Also, I have a lot of "bitsa" I may be offering. Some of the tins of Humbrol may still be good as well as the wonderful Testors "metallizer" finishes. The airbrushes are on hold, I may have a relative interested, but otherwise it's a few Paasche DA's, a Passche SA, a Badger DA, a Badger SA "touchup", and a Japanese "Mr Hobby" DA. Will try and take pictures, but it's a LOT of stuff. Also much Evergreen, K-E brass/aluminum tube, and innumerable bits/greebles.
  8. Find an old Z car. 240/260/280. Not a ZX or 300. MUCH better. I had a 76 280Z with BFG's, and open exhaust, it was a fucking monster on fire roads in Northern Michigan. Early280's also were running actual Bosh L-Jetronic, so you could monkey with it a lot. Miatas, well, if you're as tall as I am youll get a fucking crick in your neck. It's like wearing a ballcap with the bill pulled down too far. A Z you have miles of room, and a big windshield.
  9. Must be a slow news day, that kind of shit is a fairly common occurrence. And yes, usually drug/Gang related.
  10. So, suddenly cops are not "people with guns"? News to me. I'll have to inform some relatives that they'll have to use the pet door to gain access.
  11. Three dead, cause people had guns, and performed damage control.
  12. AAnd WOWP banned me. "Using cheats" was the reason. Okay then.
  13. Also (as my house floods) Is it wrong to wont this ?
  14. Ah. Do not bring the M163 into low tier battles. Not only does it shred, the ridiculous M113 chassis it is based on seems to be absurdly manuverable. So. If you want to annoy people, load "M163 VADS", in a low tier private, murder as many as you can then say, "Oh, All I have now is a T-32.".. If you are in Kentucky, you WILL hear the screaming from Missouri and Michigan, as PzIII;s work to pen that monster.
  15. I understand the intent, but a lot of me says "Just Issue Tracer". It's a PKM, they're retard accurate . They can not only count to Potato, they can shoot minute of potato.
  16. Be nice if the stupid ban on Chicom/Sov arms went away. Kind of missing the NHM91 I had. Even had a few drums. Later I had a MAADI AKM. Passed up more than a few Russian SKS's, thinking "Ah, we're friends, there'll be more!". There weren't. Not that the current hobby of building Rem870's as I want them is bad, but it's slow. Sometimes, you just want an AK around the house.
  17. So much of what could have been good, just went pear-shaped here. Some really great features, but then the ..Forehead, just fucks it. Rake that shit back, marry the lines of the fenders. And the power. Drop a Caddy V8 in there, dual carbs, McCullogh blower, big Hydromatic. Give it some shove to go with the looks. The dash is prewar. No comment. Looks fine in Dodge WC, but underwhelming here.
  18. It reminds me of the sky I saw in much of Arizona, only greener. The kind of land that inspired thought. Contemplation.
  19. Hopefully shit is sorted. Having been in Korea for a time, I do not want what I saw destroyed. My memories are of a friendly, gregarious people. Albeit a bit prone to overcharging.(Not that I noticed). (Which is another story. I'm used to paying the posted price. That is very verboten in South Korea).
  20. Parts of it looks a lot like mid Arizona, only much greener. Really, beautiful country. If I did not have a crippling disgust of commercial aviation, I'd love to go there and try the fishing.
  21. The problem with light vehicles of this configuration, is the tendency to chew up rear tires. They often have a small enough turning radius to where the rear tires are scrubbed badly in turns. Unlike a "normal" configuration, where the radius extends through the rear axle, here the radius extends through the centerline between the two axles. With heavier vehicles, the radius is large enough it's not as big an issue (it still happens, just not as badly). This likely being a FWD vehicle, it may have had a large enough turning radius to minimize the scrubbing.
  22. All that aside, it demonstrates a nigh upon insane lack of comprehension of the logistics (and repercussions) involved in such a command. Once the cork was out of the bottle, it would be open fucking season on feds.
