In other words, this tax plan will raise taxes on rich, white liberals who own mcmansions, living in Blue States who voted for Hillary and who want the federal government to tax and spend more. Now they just get to foot the bill.
 
Now I'm somewhat pessimistic about the corporate tax rates being lowered, Not that I'm opposed to business, I'm not, I'm just nervous about corporations like Apple and Google and Tesla and GE and what not which are basically run by Democrat donors being able to take home more money. If I had my druthers, their assets would be seized and used to pay off the national debt but unfortunately there's that whole thing about Bills of Attainder in the US Constitution...

My favorite part isn't how Manafort got indicted on something that has nothing to do with Trump, it's how something that started as an attempt to discredit leaked DNC emails has boomeranged back as a giant web of shit.

And the best part is that I feel like you wouldn't really find any Trump fans who actually cared about Manafort in the first place. 
 
It's like a few months back whenever that one thing happened when there was this one scandal thing with Kushner.  The #resist crowd was feeling like the Trumplets were BTFO despite a lot of Trump fans not wanting Kushner there in the first place.

In the US, people unknowingly commit three felonies a day. You could arrest and prosecute anyone at anytime if you dig deep enough. The issue that a lot of people are having is that this investigation is being used to go after political enemies and a sitting president in what basically amounts to a soft coup. It has nothing to do with seeking justice for the aggrieved. There is a much more serious issue that needs to be looked into, but is being ignored. There selling of strategic materials to a foreign country after receiving over 100 million in kickbacks, the use of the IRS to go after political opponents, the "botched robbery" of a DNC staffer as he was on his way to talk to the FBI, and numerus other serious scandals far outweigh this nonexistent "Trump Russian collusion" BS that has been dominating the mainstream media for the past year.
 
Oh yeah, I almost forgot the part where the state department "lost track of" 6 billion dollars under Hillary Clinton's watch, but nobody is interested in looking into that. I'm sure that Trump had plenty of slimy deals in his past, but that is all in the private sector and not related to his presidency as far as we know.

Trump gave an impromptu statement to the press today about the dossier and turncoat Republicans. It is worth the watch.

It's funny because the Muh Russia BS is ending up doing exactly what I expected it to do from the start, biting the DNC in the butt and turning the focus to them after no one's able to find anything of substance with Trump's name on it.  It's almost like it started off as a way to deflect attention from how incompetent their IT is and the emails that had been leaked.

As I read elsewhere, I don't care if CNN shows apples or bananas. They just need to get rid of the Lemons...

Hillary's attempts to politicize this are sickening, but they are also exactly what I've come to expect from that monster.....This from an outside observer without a dog in the fight.

Since we've all already established that most people fall into one of 2 camps on Trump; everything he does is evil or he's making America great again. Is there honestly a reason for him (or anyone) to care about what he tweets? Bad optics? What a joke. It doesn't matter what he says or tweets, it'll always be perceived as "bad optics" on the left and the media is going to ride that dick raw. He gets his power from shitting on people like that mayor and letting the media hyperventilate all over the place with their "hot takes". The brutal reality is that perception of his tweets is entirely irrelevant, much like his tweets themselves. I can't even bring myself to consider social media statements by anyone seriously anymore. It's all a farce, no matter who is doing it.

You know if we had the military strongarm the Puerto Rican government, that would make things a lot easier.

I think I understand Trump's Twitter offense strategy.  It's fairly simple.
 
Step 1:  Identify a position that's actually fairly un-controversial, and say it in the most Trump-like way on Twitter.  Like, say, "Kim Jong Un is low energy!  He is a terrible despot and his people starve!  Many such cases!  Sad!"
 
Step 2:  Indulge in maniacal laughter as contrarians come out of the woodwork to say that, no, North Korea is actually just fine!

 
 
 
And yes, I am aware that Linda Sarsour is a special kind of idiot, and not representative at all of the people who for various reasons oppose Trump and his policies.  That fact acts in Trump's favor, because Linda Sarsour is a very loud idiot who craves attention.  Linda Sarsour (and other loud idiots) taking a stand against Trump is wonderful PR for Trump.  And all he needs to do to get it is warm up his texting thumbs each morning.
