"Son of Sherman" book says the earliest cupola part number was D51050, if I got it right. But it seems to me the number on this photo is D51045. So was the D51050 cupola not the first but the second type actually? Does anyone know what were part numbers for the hatches of this type of copola or any oher split hatch type? Are there any good examples? Are there any good references for D51050 cupola, so that the number is visible clearly?
  2. Does anyone know exact text for blackout and air heater instruction plates on early M4A2 instruments panel (or on any other if these instructions were the same)?
  3. Thanks Is there any description of how it works? It seems A - handle controled brake, which changes, how easily cupola could be rotaded. And E - knob (D on the second picture) locked cupola in certain positions.
  4. Hello Is there any detailed photos or schemes of early split hatch cupola's race lock assembly? It seems to be similar to later type in general, but looks different in details.
