The first Mi-26T2 helicopter for Jordan

KkLhPjMaT6o

Presumably, the first transport helicopter Mi-26T2 (registration number 06819), built by JSC "Rostvertol" for Jordan. Rostov-on-Don, 10/14/2012 (с) Maxo Davion / vk.com

A photo of the Mi-26T2 transport helicopter built by Rostvertol JSC (part of the Helicopters of Russia), which is being tested in Rostov-on-Don. Judging by the characteristic camouflage, this is the first Mi-26T2 helicopter built for Jordan under the 2016 contract. On April 17, 2016, JSC Helicopters of Russia concluded contract No. RH-15-0651-04-1 for the supply of four Mi-26T2 helicopters with the Jordanian state bureau The King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB). The helicopters, apparently, will be transferred to the Jordanian Air Force.

Jordan became the second foreign military customer of Mi-26T2 helicopters after Algeria.
