This was reported to journalists by the deputy director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) Vladimir Drozhzhov. When ever you have such thick layers of substrate they are inherently fragile  and the nose is more thermaly stressed than most of the fuselage. F22 coatings are stil old gen  much thicker than those seen on F35 , planes will likely become maintenace hogs as they age or compromiseese will be made to keep them airworthy at cost of some stealth.

And you see some blistering and cracking on F35 paint as well

I don't have a major grudge against the Sudanese. I'm ok with them sticking to the Saudis. :P

https://www.janes.com/article/90370/us-army-set-to-fire-spike-nlos-missiles-from-ah-64e-apache

In its quest to arm future aircraft, the US Army is hosting a demonstration to determine if it can fire Rafael Spike Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) missiles from US helicopters.

The service is slated to conduct experiments at Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona, later this month as a response to army validated operational needs statements and help identify "capabilities supporting the Future Vertical Lift [FVL] ecosystem", according to the FVL Cross Functional Team (CFT). As part of the upcoming demonstration, the army will use a Boeing AH-64E Apache aircraft to conduct the Spike NLOS demo.

"The demo will determine whether Spike can be fired from a US aircraft and inform future munition and air-launched effects requirements for multi-domain operations," the service wrote in a 2 August email to Jane's .

Al'tius-U first flight was shown by MoD

Quote

The flight took place for 32 minutes at an altitude of up to 800 meters in fully automatic mode at one of the test aerodromes. All systems of the complex worked normally.

"Altius-U" - the final appearance of the UAV, created as a result of development and testing of a number of prototypes.

The complex is capable of performing the entire spectrum of reconnaissance missions using optical, radio and radar means and can be in the air for more than a day.

The mass of the device is about 6 tons. A feature of the complex is the use of a satellite control channel, which makes the radius of its application practically unlimited.

It's rather small news but our Czech MOD finally decided that it will buy 8 UH-1Y + 4 AH-1Z (orginally 12 multirole hellis were requested but the fact that these two helicopters have like 85% common parts probably lead to victory of those who wanted also some new gunships). Anyway since the number is so small everybody here is expecting that another batch will be bought later when the budget is available.

Definetly not good for MIGs already poor standing , but not unique to it .

11 Days After Incident at RIAT When Horizontal Stabilizer Delaminated, Another F-16 flown by the Viper Demo Team Loses Panel.

“It does happen occasionally. It’s just normal operating for an F-16, or any aircraft really. Sometimes latches fail,” USAF F-16 Viper Demo Team Commander Major Garrett Schmitz, callsign “Toro”, told TheAviationist.com in an interview on Saturday at Thunder Over Michigan. “Essentially what happened yesterday was, a latch failed, and the panel came off. While it’s not common, I would say it’s not un-common. It’s nothing that we’re concerned about. It’s something that happens, it’s part of flying, we fix the jet and move on.”

Just ran into the Viper Demo guys — looks like it was a spontaneous delamination of the composite. Freak occurrence apparently, as the jet did not appear to have hit anything that could have caused it

AFAIK the rear fuselage, the cargo ramp, all cabin door and fixed wing leading edges are being produced by Aero Vodochody here in Czechia. To be honest I find it quite crazy to transport those part over half of the Globe for assembly in Brazil but if they can still make money of it, why not...
