It's just an improved fighting position for a forward artillery observer. If you saw the terrain around Ft. Bragg, it works well in the pine forests there. There are natural mounds of pine straw and sand all over the place.

I am thinking about the big hole in the mound, with a big back shadow making a big contrast. And zero effort to hide the sticks supporting the hole. 

Use a netting at least. 

Same goes for the green spotter, in yellow-orange mound. 

 

It just makes my camouflage OCD go crazy .

   According to an official statement from the DPRK, the intercontinental ballistic missile Hwasong-14 flew 933 kilometers, reached an altitude of 2802 kilometers and hit the target exactly 39 minutes after the launch. That the launched North Korean missile flew about 40 minutes over a distance of more than 930 km and reached a height well beyond 2500 km was reported by the Japanese Defense Ministry earlier.
