   "Tornado-S" is a modified version of the highly effective MLRS "Smerch". The new development corresponds to the basic tendencies of modern combat. Implemented in the system automation processes allowing to simultaneously control the shooting of the division, as well as automatically calculate the data for the target, aim system in the horizontal and vertical planes. This will significantly increase the mobility of the complex and the effectiveness of its combat use.

 

   PJSC Motovilikhinskiye Zavody is the developer and the only manufacturer of multiple-launch rocket systems and transport-loading vehicles such as Grad, Smerch and their modified versions of Tornado-G and Tornado-S. In 2015 MLRS "Tornado-S" passed state tests.

   Don't know if this should be posted in Jihad design bureau or here, as this... system is using rocket pods with unguided rockets for aviation on ground vehicle for some reasons. Use Grad instead, it is not like there is shortage of rockets for it or companies in Bulgaria that produce them in big numbers.
