Will be tested in Pakistan, as Serbia doesn't have place to test such system. Pakistan will be probably first customer for this system.

More on Koshava

Quote

The new Kosava-1 optional-guided missile was displayed in the presence of Russian defence minister Sergei Shoigu and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on October 20.

The Kosava-1 is a Serbian long-range multipurpose missile system based on the improved version of Oganj rocket. The Kosava-1 missile system was developed primarily for missions against tanks, armored vehicles, fortifications, command posts, low-flying helicopters, coastal ships, industrial facilities and bridges at the 50 km distance.

After active phase of flight is completed, missile is released from Oganj’s rocket motor assembly by pyrotechnical/mechanical device, and continues flight with passive weapon guidance system which uses the infrared (IR) light emission or video signal from a target to track and follow it.

The warhead is a high-explosive fragmentation type with a total weight of 100 kg furnished with a contact and proximity fuse. The missile weight at launch – 309 kg, the rocket motor propellant weight – 61 kg.

The launcher with Kosava missiles can be mounted on a 6×6 light armoured vehicle that carried four missile canisters arranged that can be elevated and turned away from the unprotected cab.

According to the source, the first tests will be held in the near future in Pakistan.

How much firepower can you cram into the back of an Osprey? Not a super big space...

Truck mounted APKWS is a lot saner option than a GMLRS pod stuffed into something the size of a Flyer 60.

According to The Libya Times in early November, the remains of the shell were found from the battle area in Varshan, west of Tripoli, but this is not the first such case.

For the first time, the remains of such a shell produced in 2014 were found in Benghazi in October of last year 2016. Then many mistakenly ID this shells as the Krasnopol system produced by us [Russia]. As a result, the UN Panel of Experts investigating violations of the arms embargo against Libya even sent an official request to us. The reply stated that in 2014 the Kalashnikov concern did not produce or export such shells and also that their marking and the specified explosive does not correspond to the Russian ones.
Indeed, in our country explosives are marked on projectiles as A-IX-2, and on a projectile from Benghazi it was in reality indicated as A-IX-II, as well as on the remains of the GP1-A projected in early November 2017 in Varshafan. The color of the markings and shells also coincides - yellow on green.

On November 10, 2017, the press service of the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, distributed photos from his visit to the demonstration exercise of the armed forces of Rwanda "Hard Punch II" in Gaboro. One of the photographs captures the 122-mm self-propelled howitzer SN3, which was taking part in the exercises, which is in service with the Rwandan army. Earlier, the supplies of these systems to Rwanda, as well as to any other country, were not reported.

   Chinese 122mm self-propelled howitzer SN3 in Rwanda

Quote

The SN3 SPG is a modified export version of the Chinese 122mm self-propelled howitzer Type 89 (PLZ89), formerly manufactured for the PLA by the Chongqing-based Tiema Industries Group Co. in Chongqing. (plant No. 256), which is part of the state corporation North Industries Group Corporation (CNGC, acts under the Norinco brand). Until now, it was not known about the export of SPGs of type 89 or SH3.

It is not known when SH3 was received by Rwanda and in what quantity. The PRC report to the United Nations Register of Conventional Arms in 2007 contained information on the supply of six artillery systems "caliber more than 100 mm" to Rwanda, but now it is suggested that SH3 represent a more "fresh" supply.

K9 artillery in Israel.

They were brought to Israel to test ammunition, as South Korea intends to purchase (or already purchases?) munitions from IMI.

Hanwha Techwin used the opportunity to also show it to the Israelis in the artillery bid, which was later won by Elbit.

Made by a colleague yaroslav_gunin a high-quality photograph of one of the prototypes of the 152-mm self-propelled howitzer 2S35-1 (OCR "Coalition-SV-KSh") on the wheeled chassis. The picture was taken during a demonstration at a training ground in the Nizhny Novgorod region (Mulino?) In August 2017.
