-They are also clearly not trying to fire as fast as possible.

 

-It's a moot whine when the rest of the autoloader will come with the new gun.

The first joint flight test of a future hypersonic weapon will take place next year, followed by tests every six months until the weapon is fielded by fiscal year 2023, the chief of Army's hypersonic program said last week.

 

The Army is leading developing the shared HGV between the Army, Navy and Air Force while the Navy is developing the booster for the Army and Navy's version.

In this study, the authors explore the potential strategic and operational contribution of ground-launched theater-range missiles to U.S. defense strategy. They also critically evaluate the arguments that have been put forward against fielding such missiles. Finally, they estimate the cost of a variety of near- and mid-term options to field theater-range missiles. The study makes a cost-informed argument that, although not a silver bullet, deploying theater-range missiles would allow the United States to reclaim strategic options, regain military advantages, and strengthen the possibility of deterring great power conflict.

Cool video of next bath polish SPHs Krab on factory trials before oficial take by army:

 

 

Very very good howitzer even if it's deeply upgreaded AS90 turret whit K9 Thunder chassis.

Turret is 100% made in Poland,  chasiss is polonisated in more then 70% now.

   "State Corporation" Rostec" introduced a new guidance system for the 122-mm rocket launchers of the MLRS that are in service with the Russian army. The development, named OU-122, improves the accuracy of firing to 10 m," the release says.

   According to Rostec, the OU-122 guidance system allows automatic determination of the location and optimal trajectory for the 122-mm MLRS rockets. Accurate guidance is provided by correcting the data of the inertial navigation system that controls the projectile, signals from satellite systems GLONASS and GPS.

   The control unit of the OU-122 is fully compatible with various modifications of the 122-mm MLRS rockets, such as the Tornado-G, Tornado-S, and Grad. The device is installed on the standard fuse immediately before combat use. Changes of the projectile design are not required.
