ATGMs and RPGs for infantry - a thread for rebels around the world to choose their ATGM supplier.

From the recent international ATGM firing competition and Spike users' club conference:

The competition was between 7 users, and the Dutch took 1st place, giving them the right to fire off the 30,000th Spike missile to be produced.

But that's not interesting, right? What caught my eye is the little piece they wrote on the Spike LR II, which tells all about the same known info but adds that the missile climbs to an altitude of 240 meters above ground before entering a steep dive phase (which was earlier said to be 70° against AFVs).

RAFAEL debuts the FireFly, a new member of the Spike family of precision munitions. This one is the lightest of the bunch and is somewhat similar to the Harop/Harpy in its purpose - It's a drone that can be used either as a loitering munition or recon drone.

It consists of two electric motors with a flight duration of 15 minutes, and 3 warheads.

Hopefully this will find its way into the IDF, and more importantly, into the use of regular infantry brigades and not just elite units.

The MMP is marketed as having a 4km range but during trials aimed at testing the system beyond it's nominal conditions of utilization they managed to hit a target at 5km twice (out of how many launch?).

The bmpd comment. The RPV-16, developed for a production in Ukraine, is practically a complete copy of the Soviet RPO-A Shmel infantry flamethrower developed by the Design Bureau of Instrument Making (KBP Tula) and adopted by the Soviet Army in 1988. Apparently, the organization of the production of RPO-A in Ukraine is based on the appropriate mobilization reserve of Soviet times.

Russia has concluded contracts for the supply of Qatar with "Kornet-E" ATGMs, grenade launchers and small arms

Russian Ambassador to Qatar Nurmahmad Kholov in an interview published on July 21, 2018 with TASS reported that Russia and Qatar signed contracts for the supply of Russian anti-tank missile systems (KTRTs) "Kornet-E", grenade launchers and small arms to the Qatar forces.

Maybe some of those Kornets are for vehicle on the left (Yörük in AT variant)

Spoiler

Re-mix of old Soviet songs. I like how Turchinov claims that Ukrainian ATGMs are better than Russian (they are basically the same outdated commie systems). They should take guts from Javelins and put new body over it and call it new Ukrainian ATGM to create massive forum butthurts.
