Iran launched 7 missiles against Kurdish militants in Northen Iraq after series of attacks done by those militants in Iranian territory next to Kurdish part of Iraq.

Quote

Seven Fateh-110 rockets were launched by the IRGC from the territory of Iran onto the positions of the militants of the banned separatist groups - the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Iran in the area of Koy-Sangak ( Koya) in the north-east of Iraq. According to Kurdish sources, among the targets, the building in which the politburo of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan-Iran assembled, and possibly representatives of the leadership from the second party, as well as the training center of militants, and other objects. At the moment, there are at least 14 dead and more than 40 wounded, including members of the party top. Among the wounded, for example, the Secretary General of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan - Iran Mustafa Mavludi. And these figures are not yet final, so Rudaw reports that when the Iranian missile struck a building where there was a discussion of the future party congress of the KDP-I there were 40 people and many of them remain under the rubble.
This blow was a response to the frequent attacks on Iran by Kurdish militants from their camps located in the mountains of Iraqi Kurdistan in the north-east of Iraq, some of which I wrote earlier. Obviously, intelligence received accurate information about the meeting of the leadership of the militants and it was decided to strike it with a missile attack.

P.S. And here are the official shots of the launch. Fateh-110B rockets were used. This is already quite old and far from the most accurate version of the Fateh-110 rockets, after it there were Fateh-110C and Fateh-110D. Nevertheless, even they accomplished the task.

AFAIK 1 missile lost control shortly after launch (sort of visible on video).

Yeah, unsurprising, given the loading of Indian buses and the state of their roads.

How times change:

Quote

Aung San Suu Kyi insisted their imprisonment was justified and that the case had “nothing to do with freedom of expression”. She said Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo “were not jailed for being journalists” but for breaking the colonial-era Official Secrets Act.

Aung San Suu Kyi stood firm on the verdict however, diminishing hopes by some that she may lead a call for the pair to be pardoned. “They were jailed because sentence has been passed on them, because the court has decided they have broken the Official Secrets Act,” she said, addressing the World Economic Forum in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Aung San Suu Kyi openly challenged people to read the judgment and “point out where there has been a miscarriage of justice”.

US conclusions regarding the Cuban 'Sonic Attacks' have drawn academic criticism:

Quote

The normal practice with cognitive tests is to measure individual performance compared with others in the population. What is the standard measure accepted by the profession? A person must score in the bottom five percent to be considered impaired. The threshold needs to be low to take into account a variety of factors. A very small proportion of the population is deemed to be impaired.

Yet, the University of Pennsylvania defined the threshold at 40 percent, meaning that ipso facto four in 10 who take the test will be ‘impaired.’ Thus, the Edinburgh scientists concluded that “the 40 percent threshold is hardly a detail. On the contrary, it is not even recognized in our science or clinical testing.”

If readers still have doubts about this assertion, let me assure you that McIntosh and his colleague did not leave any stone unturned. They actually replicated the Pennsylvania model that looked at the probability of passing all the tests when the threshold for failure was set at 40 percent. Furthermore, the two scientists reproduced the tests 1,000 times! The subjects were all classified as impaired.

The world is a fucked up place. This whole western utopian ideal of civility and "human rights" is just a pipe dream. Humans are tribal animals, and the threat of violence against each other is what makes people behave in a "civil" manor towards each other. This can be manifest through religion or other values, but ultimately it is the threat of violence. The threat of violence in religion comes from the notion of divine punishment. I have a hard time saying anything other than "fuck the rest of this shit hole world, humans are the architects of their own misery."

Oh look, some ethnic group mistreats another ethic group that is hostile towards them! Fucking surprise! Oh wow, this breeds further hostility! Fucking surprise!

I'm just going to sit in the bigliest ivory tower that is the United Fucking States of Fucking America and say fuck them all. Unitil humans can rise above the level of being violent apes pandering to our own id, shit that offends our ego is going to continue to happen. The strong devour the weak, either by liquidation or subjugation, and that's how it is. Natural selection is a bitch to the weak.

PS: I may have had a fair amount of vodka (for maximum Russian collusion)

Those are not police officers, they are an occupying military force.....If you don't know the difference, or can't comprehend the meaning of that in international law, maybe keep your inanities to yourself.

"Tamimi, along with her mother and cousin Nour, approached the two soldiers outside the Tamimi home, and were filmed slapping, kicking, and shoving them; the soldiers did not retaliate. "

"Days later [...] Tamimi was arrested in a nighttime raid. "

"On 24 March 2018, Tamimi agreed to a plea bargain"

I wonder why she pleaded guilty

In what world is calling the Israeli Military the Waffen SS even handed? Am I missing the firing squads, gas trucks, forced labour camps, confiscation of all valuables (including gold teeth), and extermination camps? How about the fucked up medical experiments? The only people who do not want a two state solution are the Palestinians. Like the Nazis, the Palestinians want to exterminate the Jews, they do not want to coexist with them. After everything that happened in world war two, I don't blame Israel for being extremely hostile to anyone who wants to remove them from existence. "Never again" is a very powerful motivator.

That doesn't even get into how insulting it is to compare Jews to Nazis, but that's such a minor point here that it hardly matters. I would say that it would trigger some SJWs, but they hate Israel, too.

How many times did your drunken mother drop you on your head as a child? Is that why your name is Sgt Sqaurehead?

inb4 "The Gaza stretch is one giant concentration and extermination camp!".

I could see paint thinner huffing morons believing that, but if that was the case, it's the least effective concentration/extermination camp in human history. They aren't even starving them to death like Communists would do, or extracting meaningful labour out of them.

When Communists starved anybody? They usually execute or exile "unwanted elements".

Just for a bit of perspective, Israel was essentially founded as a Socialist country. All of those war heroes that threw back one Arab army after the next were mostly Socialists and/or secular Jews. So it really says a lot of the Palestinians as neighbors that Israel has gone from that to Benjamin Netenyahu in the course of one human lifetime.

Holodomor, Great Leap Forward, etc. I mean, they didn't intentionally use starvation as a method of execution, but they also starved a lot of people to death.

Edit: fixed spelling.

Have you read what those war heroes actually wrote about their own actions?

Not a comparison I made fella, I'm focussed on the IDF.  They are an occupying military force, every step they take on Palestinian territory is in contravention of international law, the rest of it is irrelevant.  The Palestinians are lawfully entitled to resist that occupation by any means necessary.

Does Israel actually need to go the full on 'Final Solution' before you people will condemn their ghastly, immoral and above all illegal actions?  You sure as shit don't hold back where Saudi Arabia is concerned.
