Presumably an employee of the Russian PMC in Libya. The photo was published on September 24 by a Haftar supporter with the caption: "Thanks to our Russian friends who stand for the rights of the Libyans."

On Google maps appeared summer satellite images of the Al-Jufra airbase in central Libya, which, among other things, show the Emirate UAVs Wing Loong-1 or 2, the Pantsir-S1 air defense missile defense system and probably the Hawk air defense system, UH-60 helicopter, armored cars, etc. Let me remind you that the UAE is helping the forces of the Libyan National Army Field Marshal Haftar in the war against the forces of the Government of National Accord (Unity) in Tripoli. By the way, it was at this airdrome in July that two Il-76s of the Ukrainian airline Europa Air were allegedly destroyed by Turkish UAVs fighting on the PNS side against the LNA.

Claims that Turkey "deployed" some of Syrian freedon fighters to Libya after request of Libyan national gov. for Turkish help and troops. It is possible they were shipped to Libya in order to help to Libyan National Gov. to defend Tripoli against Haftar's forces assault long enough so Turkey have time to plan, orginize and deploy regular army forces in Libya.

   Moscow, December 30 - AIF-Moscow.
The Turkish parliament received a request to send troops to Libya, according to TRT. It is planned that parliamentarians will consider the document on Thursday, January 2. A request to Parliament was sent by the Justice and Development Party (AKP) of Turkey, led by President Tayyip Erdogan.

The Turkish parliament approved a resolution on sending troops to Libya.
For: 325
Against: 184

Well, Turkey decided to play in Libya. Are they finished with whole Syrian campaign?

IRGC Quds force commander Qasem Soleimani was killed in US airstrike near Bagdad airport together with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy leader of Iraqi PMU and chief of Kata'ib Hezbollah. Some reports say that Naim Qassem, deputy commander of Lebanese Hezbollah was also killed in the strike.

Here both together on archive photo

This is an act of war for Iran for sure. The question is how far will it escalate. One of the first reactions is claimed reactivation of Mahdi army by Muqtada al Sadr.

This is a strange move right now, US is escalating and heating up situation in Iraqi for some reason that is not clear for me. Are they trying to bait Iran into an armed conflict?

Iraqi parlament to vote tomorrow about explulsion of US and NATO troops from Iraq.

IRGC brig. general Ismael Qa'ani appointed new commander of Quds force (former Soleimani's deputy).

There are some reports about JSOC capturing another IRGC-linked persons around Baghdad.

Meanwhile millions of Iranians in the streets marching in support of IRGC. The killing of Soleimani was the worst thing which could happen to the ongoing anti-government protests in Iran. I am afraid it will in fact strenghten the Khamenei's rule just like basically everything the US did in the Middle East in past two decades.

Interesting times ahead...

Both USA and Israel want war with Iran. Probably saudis too. All these are attempts to provoke Iran to do something that can be used against them to justify a full scale conflict, of course to destroy the "evil iranian dictatorship", and export "democracy" to them.
