The wheel hubs, angles, and add-on plates make the Bumerang look like a cyberpunk APC.

Between that, drones, the AW609, EXACTO, stabilized rifle optics, active camouflage, and growing tensions between the US and Russia, with an Asian superpower looming in the background, the 2000s are shaping up to be stylistically awesome.

Armata armor was made in Volgograd, "Red October" factory. Many western sites connected creation of 44S-Sv-Sh steel by NII Stali with Armata vehicles, but it is not true - Armata don't use this steel.

44S-Sv-Sh will be used in future to cover external devices, it was just approved for use on new vehicles.

This vehicle have interesting small 'feature', lets look at one of previous photos i posted:

Look at that welded hatch just behind second APS launcher on right side of frontal hull roof. They didn't managed to get smaller engine in time for parade, so they modified vehicle to use older, bigger engine. Driver was supposed to located there, not where he is at this photo.

Here is a screenshot from TV news story, where Kurganets hull was showed to officials.

Unmanned turret, AU-220M "Baikal". Version of this turret can appear on T-15.

Some information, related to this turret.

" .... year ago we talked with Antipov about this device. It wouldn't be low ballistics, we will have airburst capabilities.

By the way! There is 2 versions with different ammunition capacity. 80 rounds - is the most lightest module. On a wheeled chassis, their roofs can't be loaded too much ...  T-15 can have more. Shots are stored vertically, dual feed."

"There are 2 variants of ammunition storage.
There are no design problems, give, give higher allowed weight and you will be happy."

If the boomerang is K-16 with MG and K-17 with a 30mm turret, and the kurganets 25 is B-10 with the MG, what's the 30mm armed kurganets called?

I can't re-find it, but the T-90 turret protection is similar, just thicker.

Everything is fucking NERA.

I recall hearing a while back that T-90 uses titanium for the bulging plates, which makes sense

I wonder how many dismounts you lose going from the 30mm turret to that, since the 30mm doesn't need the ammo stowage basket.
