Ken Burnside is writing another blog after I asked him some questions.  Clinton apparently only stopped twice in Michigan and did not campaign in Wisconsin.  Trump stopped 6 times in Wisconsin and at least 4 times in Michigan.

It helps if you bother to show up.

My college vice president sent out the following.

Colleagues,

Following up on President Frank’s message last week, we have heard
from students and employees – from all different backgrounds and
political ideologies – asking for guidance on where to turn if they
experience discrimination, harassment, or safety concerns for
themselves or others. We want to make it clear that the safety of all
our students and employees is always among our highest priorities.
For that reason, we have many different services available to assist
all members of our campus community:

* Tell Someone is a confidential reporting line for anyone with
concerns about safety or mental health issues – either your own or
someone else’s.  This includes concerns about discrimination and
harassment

It came with more, but that's not important. What's important is that my school has a hotline for turning people in who has differing opinions. Woohoo! I guess the first email about calling the cops on people you disagreed with caught him more flack than he expected.

More than half of the anti-Trump protesters arrested in Portland didn’t vote in Oregon, according to state election records.

At least sixty-nine demonstrators either didn’t turn in a ballot or weren’t registered to vote in the state.

Not surprised given the claims that many protestors are being paid.
