Now you'll still have a good number of Republicans who still like Dubya as a person and can forgive many of his faults and verbal miscues. But I think folks are kind of fed up with the Karl Rove style of politics that the Bush name resonates with.

One thing that always bothered me about Bush, is that people ever criticize his presidency for things like his Bushisms instead of the things he actually did as president, as if saying 'nukular' had any actual bearing on his doings as head of state.

Gary Johnson had a periscope chat where he answered questions or some shit like that. He talked about libertarian stuff.

What was interesting about it is that he claimed the isidewith.com site has messed up with some of his answers. It does seem to be a little off, for example Johnson believes corporations and unions should be able donate however much they like to campaigns(as long as they are transparent), but the site says he is against corporations campaign spending. Johnson wants to cut some spending to Planned Parenthood(along with every other govt. organization), but the site says he wants to just get rid of it entirely.

I sorta took the site's accuracy for granted.

Strangely, in trying to replicate Johnson's answers in the test, Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders basically tied at 75%.

I've taken the isidewith.com test three times for this election, choosing pretty much the same responses on all available questions. Of those times, the results I got were Sanders, Carson, and Huckabee.  I feel like the 'importance' slider might have a good effect on your results.

Trump wants to "open up our libel laws so when they write purposely negative and horrible and false articles, we can sue them and win lots of money."

It is so politically incorrect to write mean things about me! I'm going to sue you, you big bully!

FFS

It'll be interesting seeing how that gets through Congress. It might then behoove our 435 elected Representatives and 100 Senators to tell the Executive branch "No".

TRUUUUUMPPP!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Oh yeah. We've gotten to the stage in the political hysteria where people are being slimed because of some knucklehead who supports him. You see it all the time in campaigns and I've always felt it to be silly. Out here in Washington State one of the favorite ones that is still bandied about by some of the gray hairs is that "Ted Bundy was a King County Young Republican". And he was. He even worked on the campaign of Dan Evans, one of our former Republican governors. So logically all Young Republicans and all Republican campaign staff are equivalent to Ted Bundy.

The funny thing about this nonsense is that David Duke didn't endorse Donald Trump.

http://davidduke.com/dr-david-duke-the-zio-media-lies-i-have-not-endorsed-donald-trump/

The ZioMedia Lies: Dr. David Duke: I have not endorsed Donald Trump!

At this moment the Ziomedia is full of lies stating that I have “endorsed Donald Trump for President of the United States.”

It is a lie. They quote me from my daily radio program as endorsing him. When in fact on my show I specifically and clearly said that I am not at this time endorsing him.CNN is the only news source that reported it accurately!  It quoted me as clearly sayingI am not endorsing Donald Trump, but hundreds of ZioNews operations have headlined that “David Duke has endorsed Donald Trump”

What I said on my show that I like Donald Trumps position on immigration and I think that he has dared to talk about is a great thing for increasing awareness of the destruction of America with massive immigration.

It is silly, but it works.

Duke hasn't officially said 'I endorse Trump to be president', but is supporting his campaign for "strategic reasons" and says voting against Trump is equivalent to being a traitor against your heritage.

So there's that.

Worrying about which xenophobic talking head is supporting/endorsing Trump does take away from bigger issues. For one thing no one really cares that Clinton was thrilled to give the goddamn Saudis a bunch of F-15s. But thanks to Trump no one gives a damn about how horrible a person Clinton is.

As for Clinton, I'm a little surprised that she pole-axed Sanders so heavily in the South Carolina primary.

But the real numbers that are important are the number of primary voters who voted for a GOP candidate far outstripped the Democrats.

http://www.nytimes.com/elections/results/south-carolina

738,000 people voted for a Republican in South Carolina this year.

370,000 voted for a Democrat (although votes are probably still being tallied).

In 2008 roughly 532,000 voted for a Democrat compared to 431,000 who voted for a Republican.

http://politics.nytimes.com/election-guide/2008/results/states/SC.html

Those are interesting and very telling numbers to me.

GiP presents a possible 2016 election scenario;

Those of you who want to see a brokered convention or a Hillary indictment are thinking too small. Imagine:

Donald Trump stumps Cruz in Texas and locks out Rubio everywhere else on Super Tuesday. He is the presumptive Republican nominee. As Trump pivots hard to economic and foreign policy populism, the establishment and neocon wings of the party refuse to accept defeat and a well-organized and well-funded campaign to run Mitt Romney as an Independent is launched.

Meanwhile, Hillary is well on her way to total victory when the DOJ indicts her on several felony counts. With all of the primary filing deadlines past, and no other competitors, Bernie Sanders is now the Democratic nominee by default. Fearing the Republican civil war will hand the White House to the socialist Sanders, Michael Bloomberg announces his entry into the race as an independent. America is treated to a four way race the likes of which it hasn’t seen since 1912.

Both conventions are chaos, as all the candidates claim to be the rightful nominee of their respective parties. The resulting chaos spreads to the down ticket races as primary challenges are filed all across the country and the state and local party apparatuses tear themselves apart. The debates make the Republican primary debates look positively dignified in comparison. Following his refusal to take a side, Paul Ryan is ousted by the Tea Party wing in the House, and the lower house of Congress is thrown into leaderless chaos. The Democrats are unable to capitalize as Bloomberg has chosen Diamond Joe Biden as his running mate, dividing the party no less than the Republicans. Meanwhile, Ginsberg has followed Scalia into the great beyond leaving two vacancies on the Supreme Court, the stock market crashes in October, and a major terror attack occurs in Russia.

As America votes, no candidate achieves a majority in the Electoral College. The leaderless and divided House of Representatives is deadlocked with Trump having a slight lead. In the Senate, Biden casts the tie breaking vote, installing himself as Vice President Elect. As inauguration day passes with no resolution in the House, Diamond Joe becomes President Biden until the deadlock is broken.

Chaos Reigns
