Can’t get much of that back east. You're looking at about 11k feet and above, really then. Breck and Mary Jane are my picks for that. Oedipus Wreckx-n-Effect
It works in Japan. But then again, a lot of things work in Japan that shouldn't. @LostCosmonaut I convinced my wife to go skiing with me this winter. Bwahahahah. LostCosmonaut
Where you planning on taking her to start? I keep trying to drag my coworkers who don’t ski to the little 400 vert hill near me, but they are reluctant.

Oedipus Wreckx-n-Effect
I always enjoyed the first weekend of ski season while I was on a colorado campus. Because the week before, all the kids would be revving themselves up for it. Then next Tuesday, the campus was full of crutches and casts. LostCosmonaut
Had a solid day at Gore today, bit annoyed that some of the stuff they said was going to open didn't. Snow was pretty good quality though, and they're working pretty hard at making more (did run into the problem of skiing on a trail with ongoing snowmaking and having my goggles ice up pretty bad). Did run into the problem of having people in the group with different stamina/skill levels. Our group of 7 people ended up split into 2 or 3 groups the whole day. Jeeps_Guns_Tanks
We have a storm coming in right now, that the weather weenies are saying is going to drop 6 to 8 FEET of snow in the Sierra Nevadas! That's crazy for a California Storm.
