I'm not sure if this is really a ringing endorsement  for Trump though. If this is going to be representative of the actual race, I imagine that we're  going to have a lot of people voting for their ''lesser of the two  evils'' candidate. I'm not sure if that's a contest that Trump can win.

Well, I made my caveats about the polling’s accuracy via the President.

The interesting number is Schultz who is in double digits and the implication that represents considering conventional wisdom has him syphoning away lean Democrat voters. Granted, he’ll pick up some #NeverTrump RINOs but I don’t think that many are around anymore.

I think 17 percent is a believable number.

As it stands, I think 2020 with a strong Schultz 3rd Party run will result in 1992 type numbers but with the incumbent winning.

He did in 2016 you knob.

And I'm grateful for that, if nothing else than because of his Supreme Court nominees. I'm only skeptical of his chances based on information this far away from the general election. A lot could change during the time, and I would not be surprised if the Democrat's candidate is someone else besides Kamala Harris.

In Trump's defense, it looks like this approval rating largely matches his approval ratings right around the end of the 2016 election, so maybe that's a good sign.

Trump is the lessor evil compared to Harris. That cunt wants to kill private health care and force something worse than the VA on us.

I think his point was that a lot of people see it the other way around.

(although I voted for A. Leppo in 2016, so you should probably disregard my opinion)

That can only be because they don't know Harris yet. Any politician out of Cali, Dem, Rep, lib etc, should not be trusted.

Polls are always weird, as they might just target specific people (I.e. this poll might be just republicans), but it would be great to see the country come together rather than keep splitting. I am cautiously optimistic.

So here is the Green New Deal document being peddled by AOC and the lot.

https://assets.documentcloud.org/documents/5729035/Green-New-Deal-FAQ.pdf

It... truly is special the wishful thinking involved.

How will you pay for it? The same way we paid for the New Deal, the 2008 bank bailout and extended quantitative easing programs. The same way we paid for World War II and all our current wars. The Federal Reserve can extend credit to power these projects and investments and new public banks can be created to extend credit. There is also space for the government to take an equity stake in projects to get a return on investment. At the end of the day, this is an investment in our economy that should grow our wealth as a nation, so the question isn’t how will we pay for it, but what will we do with our new shared prosperity.

Well, the 20s are coming up again

Watching and reading the captions, the amazing thing is that I can't tell if this float is meant to be negative or positive towards the President so I'm going to assume the latter.

After seeing the rampant crack down on speech in the UK, I decided that more should be done than just Thoughts and Prayers.

I know that it's a scary time for our UK members. Knowing that what you say on the internet can put you on the wrong side of a Bobby's nightstick, well, I find that despicable.

So I've created this place for all your impure or degenerate thoughts. Here's how it works.

Perhaps you want to say something "offensive". Instead of saying it yourself, you can message any US member of this forum and have them act as your avatar of avarice.

For example, say you had a particularly heinous fish and chips at the local pub. You may want to say, "Oi, that cheeky fucker Barnaby William can't do a proper chip if he had a fryer for hands!"

This on it's own could send you straight to jail for defamation. Moreso, if instead of chips that sent you reeling it happened to be a kebab from Omar down the street.

Now your crime has gone from offensive to racially insensitive!

Anytime such an urge comes along, call on your ex colonial friends. We will translate and post your complaint for all the world to revel in, free of charge!

I personally think Omar should learn to pull the fucking kebab off heat before it's crisper than his wife's crotch and blacker than his beard. That tosser!

See? Don't you feel better? And now, no one will be knocking on your door, serving you with a summons for being a racist git.

i personally support it, by finding the KGB Felix Dzerzhinsky greatly improved state scurrility both inside the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and abroad (their jurisdiction was only domestic, but they kept the internationally influential people safe at night)   a dedicated defender of both the Revolution and all the Soviet peoples     what do you think of this news?
