LoooSeR
That is second such powerfull strike against Saudis. First i posted here in early pages, IIRC. 150 Saudi-Led Troops, Mercenaries Killed in Yemen Tochka Attack At least 150 Saudi-led troops and mercenaries were killed in a ballistic missile attack on a Saudi military installation in the western countryside of Bab-el-Mandeb. On Sunday, Yemeni sources said that the Yemeni army and the popular committees launched a Tochka missile on the headquarters of the Saudi military command in the southwestern province of Taiz. The sources reported this death toll, noting that an Emirati colonel named “Sultan Bin Hweidan” was among the killed. Among the casualties were Saudi, Emirati, and Moroccan troops; this was in addition to the death of at least 42 mercenaries hired by the US-based private military contractor, Blackwater, the sources added. Sources added that at least 146 charred bodies arrived in Aden via the Al-Umari military camp, while also adding that the coalition forces sent a ship carrying medical supplies to the coast in order to assist the high number of casualties. LoooSeR
Yemeni Ceasefire In Place A ceasefire in Yemen has begun on the eve of the UN peace talks set to take place in Geneva, Switzerland. Mueen Abdulmalek, a member of the government delegation, said “we hope the militias will commit to the ceasefire this time,” referring to Iran-backed rebel forces in Yemen. The Yemen War symbolizes another flash point of the Riyadh-Tehran rivalry that has also crippled Iraq and Syria. ISIS and Al-Qaeda have taken advantage of the instability in Yemen and have set up camps. Al-Qaeda hold considerable territory in the country. The Saudi-led aggression against Syria has claimed the lives of atleast 6000 people including an average of 3 children a day since the war began 9 months earlier. Yesterday, Save The Children released a report specifically on the mortality rate of children caught up in the indiscriminate bombing of civilian homes by the Saudi-led coalition. “The international community’s reluctance to publicly condemn the human cost of conflict in Yemen gives the impression that diplomatic relations and arms sales trump the lives of Yemen’s children,” Save The Children’s country director Edward Santiago said. “The world must not stand by while children are being bombed, it must demand that civilian lives and civilian facilities like hospitals are protected.” He welcomed the peace talks and a commitment by Saudi Arabian forces to honor a ceasefire. Abdullah Alsehayyah, a commander of Saudi Special Forces in Yemen is reported killed in a rocket attack around Aden. #Yemen Saudi commander of special operatios forces, Col. Abdullah al Suhiaan reported killed in Aden. His body arrived to Saudi Arabia. It is possibly that he was wounded and died in Aden, instead of being killed in Aden, as UAE officials reported.
