@LoooSeR i just checked again the footage of BMP-3 with Kinzhal turret firing and ejecting spent cases, those clearly are necked down unlike the picture you shared for the Epokha.  So i´m thinking that the Kinzhal is using either the old WW2 57x480mm (necked down 76mm case) or the post war 57x348SR as used by S-60 AA gun, both are necked down but the latter is smaller while the Epokha is using a brand new even smaller 57 cartridge.

LoooSeR; thanks for posting this info! Do you know exactly where Nikolay K. did his "research and development work" at the Ministry of Transport Engineering? Where is that Ministry located?

Don't know much about what and where he was exactly. Ministry of Transport Engineering was ~short lived entity (from 1946 until 1957), it was Narkom of transport engineering before and had plenty of different organisations under it, even something like "Research Institute long-distance radio communication with the test plant (NIIDAR)".

What is this?

Isnt it obvious? Its a truck with a trailer, and something covered with tarpaulin, with a pipe sticking out of it :)

No, seriously. I think it may be a T-64, T-64R or an earlier T-64A, going to a museum or exhibit. The tank's rear plate seems to be flat, that rules out T-72. The towing hooks are mounted low, that rules out T-80.

People on otvaga continue to dug interesting documents (contract documentation). This time - some of electronic system components for Epokha turret, post is stolen from tankoff.

Quote

Conformity assessment (certification) of an electronic component base of foreign production to radiation resistance requirements for manufactured samples of 32B01 product and its components

   "32B01" is Epokha combat module.

   Interesting bits -

Thermal imagers from different countries, China (1, 2), South Korea, France. Unknown if this is a purchase for comparative testing or they are testing them with aim to put into Epokha.
