A bit of exclusive material for SH.

Went to 61st BTRZ (Tank repair factory nubmer 61) near St.Petersburg this morning with Vasyliy Krysov at the event (75 years), took plenty of very interesting photos of amost unknown T-72B1 "modernized" tank for Nicaragua and bunch of other things.

Let's begin with T-72B1 Modernized aka White Eagle at the entrance:

Yuri Pasholok and crew are working on the BA-6 in the Central Armed Forces Museum.

They tried to go for a full turret rotation, but it got stuck.

Love seeing  proper resto work/efforts.

Damn, your photos have come out much better! I need to work on my photography if I am to keep up

Got to sit in a T-72B though,so today was a good day!

Edit:

That T-34 is far more interesting to me.  For it's time it really was an interesting machine.

Love the big dynamotors associated with the radio set.  Had one from a U.S. LW set, that'd step 12v up to 250VDC. Made an awesome electro pencil for engraving.
