   Eastern Aleppo frontline is active - village was taken from ISIS. As you see this looks like stable frontline with Jirah base being close enough to be taken. We see how Tiger will advance in this area.

   1 Hero of Russia, and other medals, total number of SOF operatives that were awarded today is 16. Event for which they are awarded happened somewhere in Aleppo province.

   They were on positions giving coordinates for aviation, supporting Syrian forces with ATGM fire (BMP-based VBIED mentioned in this interveiw), but during attack of Nusra front Syrian forces retreated because of problems with command, leaving 16-20 SOF alone. 3-4 attacks of Nusra front (up to 300 militants) were repelled, during night time routes to SOF position was mined by defenders, during morning attack on the next day 2 BMPs were destroyed at this minefield.

   SOF had pretty good cover on their positions, so no KIA. Militants lost several vehicles, more than a dozen killed.
