   One of the officers of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) reported that the leadership of the SAA appointed General Juma al-Jasim as commander of the operations of the SAA in the Harast region east of the Syrian capital of Damascus.

   The source added that General al-Jasim will lead the forthcoming counter-attack of the SAA against the Ahrar al-Sham movement in Harast. The counterattack is aimed at destroying the siege of Ahrar al-Sham in some parts of the motor depot south of Harasta, restoring all the positions that the SAA lost around the base and even captured Harast.

   According to the officer of the SAA, the 4th division, the Kalamun Shield, the Special Operations Forces (SMF) and several units of the Republican Guard will be under the command of General Al-Jasim.

I missed during work overload in last days the militants attack in Harasta that cut part of SAA forces from others.
