July 11, a few dozen kilometers from the Golan Heights Russian VKS UAV was shot down.

   The source of the photo reports that he was shot down by the IDF. It is noteworthy that this model is developed in Israel and is known as Searcher MkII. In Russia it is produced under license under the name "Forpost".

The Syrians did have a number of them originally, so I assumed the southern rebels were just hiding a few as keepsakes.  I saw one twitter account claiming some were shipped from Bulgaria to Saudi Arabia, with the original source of the vehicles being unknown.

The one without the wheels on the flatbed in the second video looks recently refurbished, kind of like the one on the boat.

@Collimatrix

   So basically Russian VKS "Fortpost" UAV was flying over Syrian territory (Quneitra province) when Israeli comrades launched Patriot missile and shot down it. As "response" over such evil actions of Assad (and probably Iranians of course) Israeli comrades launched Spike NLOS vs 3 Syrian positions/observation posts (because they are directly to blame for Russian UAV flying over Syria).

   Fortpost UAV ("Outpost") is the Israeli Searcher Mk II, assembled for the Ministry of Defense of Russia at the JSC "Ural Civil Aviation Plant" in Yekaterinburg from the kits supplied by the Israeli company Israel Aerospace Industrues (IAI). Apperently IDF don't know Isreali-made UAVs.

B. Netanyahu: "... A few hours ago an unmanned vehicle penetrated from Syria into Israel, was successfully shot down, I would like to emphasize that we will strictly suppress any attempts to violate both our air and land borders."

Vladimir Putin: "We know about your concerns, let's talk about this in detail. <...>"

Al-Quneitra is now Israel, according to Netu. And this is IDF soldier.

I am interested if this is covered by warranty.
