More airstrikes against Iranian militias in Damascus. Warehouses as usual. Syria intercepts literally every goddamn missile, with the only exception of those missiles that were supposed to hit something.

 

Expect tomorrow there's going to be yet another Russian statement that 80% of the missiles were intercepted. About 2 days later satellite images should emerge on media showing targets hit by at least triple the amount of missiles.

IDF Chief of Staff, Gadi Eisenkot, arguably the most effective Chief of Staff in a very long time and who has led the IDF to its all time highest point of strength and readiness, talks about Syria.

 

He reveals that Israel has conducted thousands of strikes against Iranian targets already, and that in 2018 alone the IDF dropped 2,000 bombs in Syria.

 

He describes the Iranian forces as "very determined, but not very capable".

 

He concludes that the Iranian forces are now retreating thanks to these strikes, and a "complete superiority in intel".
