Alright everyone, time for a mullet car shoot-out.

First off, https://cosprings.craigslist.org/cto/d/86-firebird/6568323027.html

I can see so much potential for a stupid car in each of them.

That's a shockingly clean Fiero.  They can make a neat little runabout (if you don't try and turn them into a MR2 like so many of their owners have.).

It's not a "car" though.

You never, ever buy a Fiero as your only "car".

That firechicken  has been hooned, and likely reeks of semen, weed and beer-vomit.

His Dark Majesty limo (or car from same series) - Kortedj/Kortedzh spotted being moved

Dark Lord inauguration:

263852-126aaea1fda90c7090305e00711e4185

Car is called "Aurus", index EMP-41231SB (EMP means "Unified modular platform"). 6.84 meters long limo.

Quote

In the photos published by the Kremlin, it is clearly visible: on the front there is a nameplate Aurus - this verbal designation is formed by the initial syllables of the words Aurum (Latin gold) and Russia (Latin Russia). According to the idea of the authors, the name symbolizes the greatness, primacy, excellence and prosperity with which Russia should be associated.

/..../

A powerful electric motor is integrated between the engine and the transmission, which performs the tasks of the starter and generator, and also allows the machine to move only on electric power - in order to maintain mobility in the event of damage to the main engine. That means that this is a hybrid.

All "Aurus" will have only a four-wheel drive built around the clutch, which is responsible for supplying traction to the front wheels. At the same time, as noted by "Autoreview", sedans and limousines will have a crossover clearance - from the ground cars of the Unified modular platform are separated by 200 mm of ground clearance.

I guess it is easier to build a special limo that can cross shitty roads than build normal roads that can be crossed by normal cars.

Car have a domestic engine - it was done with the support of Porsche. Most likely, under the hood of the "limousine for the president" hides a 4.4-liter double turbo engine with 600 hp. (V12 engine, according to some sources, was not made in time), with which the 9-clutch automatic gearbox R932 of the Moscow company KATE.

"Domestic" engine made by Porsche.

This is just a long Audi with Porsche engine made for Russian roads and Dark Majesty The Crimean.

Man, this is the cleanest Vega I've ever seen.

Look at the shag!

Looks like a base model, (no tach/"sports" cluster, four knocker in '76)  but it has AC.  Barring  any tinworm, and/or issues caused by GM's hit and miss QC of the day, that should be a decent base for a restoration.

I've dealt with a few dozen Vegas, and when you get a good one, it's REALLY good.  But a lot of them were just trash from day one.  That this one is in decent shape and seemingly unmolested (mechanically) is pretty rare.

Gota wonder about that roll of electric tape on the dash. A lot of my most annoying car problems came from cut up wiring harnesses from idiots installing alarms and stereos.  Electrical bugs suck to find in cars.

If you are going to gut it and install fun stuff, that's not much of a worry.

It's a 42 year old GM product.

It left the factory held together by a roll of 3M "33" electrical tape.
