Pegaso Z102 BS 2.5 Cupula Coupe

   Pegaso Z102 BS 2.5 Cupula Coupe was build in 1952 at the machine-building enterprise ENASA (formerly Hispano Suiza) in Madrid. The authors of the project were students who worked in the enterprise, and Wouter Melissen headed the work. A Pegaso Z102 was chosen as basis for project. Car was equipped with a 2.5-liter 8-cylinder V-engine with a power of 165 hp and a 5-speed manual gearbox. Only 2 Pegaso Z102 BS 2.5 Cupula Coupe were built, one was sent to the Dominican Republic as a gift to Trujillo, and the second remained in Spain.

I still question the long term durability of wholly electric vehicles, once they become "dumbed down" or "priced down" to where we see them in semi-common use.

 

ICE powered vehicles will be around for a very very long time.  Were I a reasonably sized automaker, I'd be looking at LPG/Propane, instead of electric.

   Phantom Corsair concept car

   Phantom Corsair six-seat coupe was created in 1937-1938 by american entrepreneurs Rast Heinz and Maurice Schwartz, and the construction of the prototype was carried out by Bohman & Schwartz, located in California in Pasadena. When creating the Phantom Corsair, the chassis of the Cord 810 sedan was used. The Cord 810 also borrowed a 4.7-liter Lycoming 80 V8 engine with a 190 hp output and 4-speed automatic transmission. The car received an original streamlined body that contained a number of original solutions: the front fenders were made as one with the body, there were no door handles on the doors, and they were opened using an electric drive, a number of indicators were placed on the instrument panel (lights were turned on etc.), compass, altimeter and radio.
   The car was planned for mass production and the planned cost of the Phantom Corsair was to be about 12.5 thousand dollars, however, due to the death of Rast Heinz in a car accident in 1939, these plans remained only on paper

Turbo Phantom concept car

   The Turbo Phantom concept was created by brothers Ron and Lee Willa, who owned the Phantom Vehicle Company in California. At one time, Ron Will worked for General Motors Corporation (GM), at the same time and began work on the creation of the original concept car. While working at GM, Ron Will worked the model of the car, and even managed to test it in a wind tunnel. In the mid 70s. Ron left the company and went to California, where he began building a model. The presentation of the three-wheeled car he created was held at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 1978.

 

   The Turbo Phantom was equipped with an engine from a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle (GL 1000) with an output of 80 hp, a front axle from a VW Beetle and a steering system from MG Midget. The car body was made of polyurethane foam and fiberglass. Turbo Phantom accelerated to 225 km/h. Only 3 were made. In view of this, the Phantom Vehicle Company soon closed, and Ron Will transferred to the Japanese corporation Subaru.

Why? Those old Lycoming eights were stupidly reliable, and having "ALL TEH POWAHH" would be useless unless you chucked the whole drivetrain to the curb.

Kind of defeating the purpose of having a really neat old car.

I dont care if the subframe turns itself into a pretzel the first time I hit the gas. LS swap now, worry about ancillary bullshit later. Brakes, rear end mods, and chassis stiffening is for suckers when you have all that sweet, sweet power straight from Jimmy’s wrecked WS6.

   Audi Aurus Senat non-armored sedan presentation. AFAIK full scale serial production is planned to start in 2020, 150 cars are to be made in 2019. 598 hp, 4.4 liters V8, 9-speed gearbox, all wheel drive sedan "made" in Russia. Parts that are "made" in Russia are: V8 engine, gearbox, all electronics, probably chassis, tyres, brakes, parts of interior, fuel system (or some parts of it).

And you need water injection! Simply drill a hole into the throttle body, run a tube from the window viper pump and BAM! Water injection on demand!
