Incidentally, Haas getting points without having a pit stop is quite unique. Teams have to have use at least two different tyre compounds, forcing a pitstop.

A few flaws (incorporating the front wheel well into the door, the large overlapping windows on the sliding door), but the overall concept looks very sound.

   Mercedes-Benz C111-III Diesel is a modified version of the Mercedes-Benz C111, is equipped with a 5-cylinder in-line diesel engine and manual five-speed gearbox. Vehicle Refinement was carried out in 1977-1978.

German floating car Amphicar 770

 

   The car was developed in 1961 under the direction of designer Hans Trippel. In the same year the car was unveiled at the New York Motor Show. The serial production of the car has been started in the same year. Mass production of the machine was carried out on the Quandt Group company facilities (located in Luebeck), and continued until 1968. Total of ~4 000 Amphicar 770s were build during production.
