BAAAEEEYYYEEERRR!!! KICK!!! TOUCH-TOE!!!

Sadly, only three paragraphs are given to this brief story about the Radio City Rockettes.

Rockettes known to act out ‘bear porn’ backstage

What goes on behind the scenes at the “Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes” should probably stay there.

Retired Rockette Sabra Lewis told the crowd at Atlas Obscura Live at Union Hall on Thursday night that the hoofers got up to a lot of mischief between shows with their teddy-bear costumes from the “Nutcracker” scenes.

“There’s a lot of bear porn [enacted] backstage,” she said. Apparently, performing in two to six shows a day during the holidays tends to drive the Rockettes “a little crazy.”

Heh.  I just cringe when I see chicken's described as "pets."  I've had chickens that I liked, but I never thought of them as pets.  If they died, I might get mad, the same way you get mad if a good tool breaks.  But I wouldn't be sad about it like if my dog died or something.  Anyhow, those are all birds you can get at Tractor Supply, they will be able to replace them easily.  Also, that coop they have is one of those flimsy-ass things they sell at tractor supply for a several hundred bucks.  Raising a new group of chicks will probably be a good experience for the kids in this family anyway.

Bears can be total assholes sometimes, but rich California hippies are even worse.

In Lake Tahoe, "bear advocates" are threatening vandalism and issuing death threats to property owners who want nuisance bears removed after the animals break into their cabins. It's a long story but worth the whole read.

http://www.sanluisobispo.com/news/state/california/article204907769.html

"Government trappers have taken to hanging security cameras around their large culvert-like cage traps, designed to catch the bears alive to be killed later if necessary. Over the years, traps have been moved, vandalized or slathered with chemicals the bears don’t like. Two women, a mother and daughter, were captured on one such camera in 2013 as they tampered with a trap set in Incline Village. They were convicted in Nevada the next year.

Chaplin and others in Homewood say that if they were to allow a local government bear trapper on their properties, they’d be harassed at home or at their businesses. Death threats and vandalism are real risks, they say."

...

"Any state-sanctioned bear killing – even of bears proven to have been habitually breaking into locked or occupied homes through ear-tagging programs, radio collars or DNA evidence – infuriates Tahoe’s well-funded and well-organized groups of bear advocates, who defend the animals with a righteous, evangelical zeal.

Chaplin and other residents blame Bryant of the Bear League for organizing harassment campaigns against homeowners if they cause a bear’s demise. She adamantly denies any harassment is her doing, through she doesn’t dispute it happens."

...

"Had Homewood been on Nevada’s side of the border, the family of bears that Chaplin encountered in his home that November morning likely would have met a death sentence. Nevada wildlife officials have broad discretion to kill bears, and they have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to the animals breaking into homes when people are inside.

“If we have a bear that’s entered an occupied home, they show they’ve gone past our level of comfort,” Robb said. “They’ve shown they pose a threat to humans.”

It’s a different story in California, where the wildlife agency’s policy is to kill bears if they attack someone. Otherwise, state wildlife officials are deeply reluctant to kill a problem bear. Wildlife officials know all too well the PR nightmare they’d have on their hands in a state where animal rights groups hold substantially more sway than in the much more politically conservative Nevada."

That seems pretty sensible to me.....Urban foxes are one thing, this is entirely another.

Yeah, and those bear saving asshole won't even stop when a bear kills someone.  California is cancer, the state should be looked at as a poster child for how the Democrats will fuck the rest of the country up even more if they get back in power.  There is some hope, a bunch of cities and counties are revolting against the syphilitic Governer Jerry, the scumbag, Brown's sanctuary state policy.  Hell, in San Deigo country, they are dumping hundreds of felons a week back on the street, violent felons, because they don't wont to work with ICE to deport actual criminals.  Sadly this often results in "Non-Criminal"(hahahah) illegal aliens to get rounded up too and deported along with the felons. The excuse that the local illegals won't work with law enforcement if they fear being turned over to ICE is an idiotic argument too, they didn't cooperate with police in the past because they feared repercussions from the criminals in the community.  The high crime areas in Cali also don't even prosecute petty crimes anymore, if you steal something less than 1000 bucks, even a car, it's a misdemeanor and a fine and they are right back out on the street, stealing shit out of your car for the 4th time that month.

Spokane clothing company takes down billboard depicting bears having sex.

Fortunately, the autistic pedants of the world were quick to point out the image did not depict bears fornicating correctly.

"A handful of online commenters pointed out that the animals’ position seemed unlikely, so The Spokesman-Review consulted an expert.

Chris Servheen, a University of Montana wildlife conservation professor and the former grizzly bear recovery coordinator for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, said the male bear would be bent over, leaning on the female’s back rather than standing behind her.

“He’s sometimes biting her neck and holding on to her with his paws,” he said."

...

Barbour said he didn’t consider the position when approving the design.

“It’s not supposed to be overly educational,” he said.

Researcher lands "dream job" of studying bears in montana, promptly gets attacked by grizzly.

https://www.greatfallstribune.com/story/news/2018/05/22/montana-bear-researcher-dream-job-attacked-grizzly-amber-kornak/634343002/

A government wildlife worker who recently landed her dream job researching grizzly bears in a Montana mountain range is recovering from a bear attack that left her with a fractured skull and other serious injuries.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service seasonal field assistant Amber Kornak was attacked on May 17 while working alone near a stream in the Cabinet Mountains, agency spokeswoman Jennifer Strickland said.

While being mauled, the 28-year-old Kornak managed to reach a canister of Mace-like bear spray and ended the attack, inadvertently spraying herself in the process.

She then walked to her work vehicle and drove to find help, according to Strickland.

Working with grizzlies had been a longstanding career goal for Kornak, who is recovering at a hospital in Kalispell following surgery for the skull injury and from severe cuts to her head, neck and back, said Jenna Hemer, a friend who spoke with Kornak following the attack.

...

Kornak was working at the time of the attack on a genetic study that requires collecting grizzly hair samples. The hairs can be found on trees or other objects that grizzlies rub against, and are used to analyze the animals' DNA.

...

So... mission accomplished?
