LoooSeR Posted July 3, 2017 Author Report Share Posted July 3, 2017 This guy is overstreching and overprizing HL2, but he is spot on about Metro:LL using elements of HL2 design. Although he forgot to add that Metro LL also borrows form several other games. There is a whole section/level in Metro:LL which was made using same game and level design concepts as in FEAR (Depo level), hell they even made bad guys looks very similar to FEAR's Replicas. Funny thing that making "our own HL2" is kind of thing in Russian/ex-Soviet gamedevs. Timeshift is one of examples of "russian HL2" as well.
