With Sarab-1 dazzler

I like this one a lot.  They simultaneously don't have a spare pane of glass to replace the rear cab window, but they do have an electro-optical jammer to fend off ATGMs.  And then there's all the random crap welded to the gun shield.

Forgot to add best ISIS HMG movable tripod/quadpod, thanks to Colli for a reminder.

I have found my spirit animal, now all I need is for this picture to be small enough to fit in my signature :)

Here’s another BTR-152 SVBIED used by HTS last year, as well as a picture of how the armored car looks like in its original state. As you can tell, the one used by Jaish Khalid Ibn al-Walid has been heavily (!) modified

Interesting BMP-1 with a ZPU-2 AA gun mounted on top, in use with Jaish Khalid Ibn al-Walid in their Daraa enclave

Those civilian UAZs wih HMGs strapped on top of them will participate in Victory Parade even in Khabarovsk. For fuck sake, why?

... cheap? Or maybe they take pride in their garbage? I guess the argument could be made that the average layman wouldn’t be able to tell it’s a bad idea...

Greetings, I have been studying in the battle of Afrin since it started. Yet I still lack some information that can clearly analyse the opposite plan, war progress and order of battle of both side (Turkey army clear but YPG isn’t).
I am spectacular interested in the process of the battle as it revealed the true strength of the 2nd largest NATO army. Also, the performance of YPG/YPJ militant against the regular modern army is meaningful to modern warfare study too.
Hence, any kind man can help me on this field or even just give out a reading list?

ISIS, how you get so many Toyota Hilux pickups?
U.S. Treasury inquires about ISIS use of Toyota vehicles
Toyota Hilux pickups, an overseas model similar to the Toyota Tacoma, and Toyota Land Cruisers have become fixtures in videos of the ISIS campaign in Iraq, Syria and Libya, with their truck beds loaded with heavy weapons and cabs jammed with terrorists. The Iraqi Ambassador to the United States, Lukman Faily, told ABC News that in addition to re-purposing older trucks, his government believes ISIS has acquired “hundreds” of “brand new” Toyotas in recent years.
“This is a question we’ve been asking our neighbors,” Faily said. “How could these brand new trucks... these four wheel drives, hundreds of them -- where are they coming from?”

This was posted on tanknet back in April, I can't believe I missed it.  I'm pretty sure this constitutes a grave crime against AFV decency and good taste.  And why the glossy green paint?
      BTR-60PB + M47M turret = "Aghareb" wheeled tank destroyer.
