  3. Another video of the AS21. This video shows some footage of the 3rd prototype moving, along with it being loaded for shipment to Australia last month. There is also the same footage from the video posted by DTR in this one as well.

  4. When You posted this vehicle... do you know guys this thing? It's firefighting tank SPOT-55 based on T-55 chassis and produced by VOP-25 factory (now only VOP) in Czechoslovakia since 1991 (and Czechia after 1993 split). This tank has been in active use in basically every major fire in our country (forest fires, ammo dump accidents, chemical and ammo plant accidents etc.). It's big advantage is that it's optionally manned and can be operated remotely up to 1500 meters from the operator. Unfotunately I don't know how many were built but at least two are also in Saxony, Germany.

  5. Figured it out. It's a regular turret on a E hull. I didn't notice the different rear and then thought it was a re-painted Omani version as they have different cooling exhausts: I had also forgotten that the version used in Greek trials had a mantle-mounted optic but used the updated periscope: I wonder why it was changed? Previously the regular CR2E was the one being advertised to Greece:

  8. A few years late, but have to say this was a great OP I wish I'd stumbled on sooner (plus a pretty epic flamewar). Fascinating for those of us who don't work on or aspire to design aircraft but want to understand the choices designers made. Hope it is not too late to add something to the conversation. 1. Some more fighters with outer wing fuel tanks: (some) Corsairs (some) Spitfires (VIII, XI, XIV-) TA 152H Ki-84 Yak-7 Possibly LaGG-3 & La-9? 2. Some more points worth mentioning: Airframes that were arguably heavier and stronger than optimal fo

The latest iteration of Merkava is called Mark 4 Model 400, which has a newer C2 system and enchaned TROPHY (you can tell by the added optical sensor). kinda interesting because although MK 4 had seen many modifications and improvements throughout the years this is IMO the first time that the IDF officially names a new Mark 4 version https://www.idf.il/אתרים/חטיבה-188/2020/טנק-סימן-4-חטיבה-188/
