Fresh photo of the T-14 and T-15. Turret service hatch is open, BTW. It might be preparations for RAE 2015, but there is no accurate information on that.

That MERA...i like this name It is 2-piece device where both parts are equally important. As i understood explosives creates a shockwaves and vibration in ballistic part, that increase it's ability to fuck up HEAT jets and APFSDS (i guess). So, Object 477 could load it's 8-shots autoloader only when turret was in -+20 degrees arc to hull.

APS is not better than passive armor, they are not a same thing. APS adds a layer of protection, but it simlly can't replace actual armor. Kurganets-25 got big side armor modules with ERA or NERA, Bumerang don't have APS at all. T-15 have protection level higher than any previous tank in Russian Army, so it don't rely on APS for protection. And Zaslon APS is crap.

Malakhit was pre-Relikt ERA for Object 187 tanks, it is old model of ERA (20+ years) that never was produced. I don't know why your source attached old ERA with news about new tank and it is not like Malakhit is better than Relikt, so there is no reason to use it instead of Relikt. Moreover, UGP Armata is equipped with new ERA design (if it is ERA), name of wich is unknown. For any other Armata-related question we have a thread dedicated to UGP Armata called "GLORIOUS T-14 ARMATA PICTURES".
