That had less to do with who nominated him, and more to do with procedure. Obama was throwing a long ball hoping that would happen.- 5,676 replies

My only critique is "it's not just the Democrats". There's some Repubs/RINO's who want to scotch this guy for the same reasons. "He might not play ball".- 5,676 replies

You still have the assumption of innocence, especially in circumstances like this. This is one person (and another likely looking for her fifteen minutes) making a claim that goes completely against everything else said, written or investigated about the guy. She's wanting a FBI investigation. The guy was a U.S. circuit judge for D.C.. If he had real dirt, it'd have turned up before this. You want to know why some people have a hard-on for this guy? He worked on the Starr report, that indicted Clinton and lead to his impeachment. This is revenge. Plain and simple.- 5,676 replies

Had a couple chances to mess with those. They are an interesting design that really should be more common.

Walt, this is a valid description of every presidential candidate (and why they are run, and why they get elected), for well over a century. Hillary getting elected would not have changed a thing. You know this.- 5,676 replies

Damn. I'd forgotten how ugly the Riv got.

Depends on the level and scope of "historical adjustment" they decide to implement, to drive sales.

I'd be happy if they managed to make the poor old Kingfisher useful. I own both.

Meh, Gayjin. Next it'll have DU-AP, for "Balance".

Amazing that it took the Germans, what, 10 years to admit it "might" have a problem? I took those images back ~2003..

Obligatory image dump.

Tanks of the Commonwealth in WWII thread

The Ram makes a long dead bit of my anatomy wiggle. Just so... Because it is Canadian , but it is not quite ALL Canuck. I want to hug it, but it says "No you are American!", and I say "But wait, so are you!". As it waits, I say " And my relatives are Canadian (A lie, as we were chased out by the British)" Thus is the Ram lulled. -
When a 76mm (From a M41) bounces off the front of a PZKfwII, this seems to indicate their shot mechanics are a skosh wacky. Gaijin talks a good game but they seem to lack range time. I/e~ "I have seen what a 90mm solid shot does to a chunk of 12" facehardened steel. ". It blows a fist sized hole right through it. I've seen a 25mm Puteaux shred proofed armor. Shit that does not happen in games, DOES happen in the real world. The Puteaux was the most amazing. It fucking destroyed modern armor . That little 25mm was badass.

You make it, I WILL buy it. As I know if it's in 6.5 Swede, I can make it in 7.5 X54.. And have a cest magnifique rifle. (which now that I think about it, I have a source of 24/29 mags. That would be badass. A wood stocked, semi/ MAS 44/FAL using 24/29 mags .. Maybe. If I could keep it from slamfiring.
-
Now make it in 6.5X55 Swede.. Hahaha! (which no kidding, would be a fantastic idea, as 6.5X55 is absurdly underrated..An AR platform using 6,5 Swede would be amazing,)

Still, finding solace in single player creations. elderly rudder pedals do not get beaten, old HOTAS throttles are not flogged. in frustration.. I fly a Hawker Nimrod, and have fun. Genuine fun. Snaprolling around bots, etc. It's not the winning, it's the knowing that if I lose, it's because I fucked up, not the network.

Once the plethora of antigun shitweasels in the senate turn to pushing up daisies, and the BATF is sent packing.

That's one of the better looking Sterlings I've seen. Many are simply terrible. Sloppy welds, (the ones along the upper that hold the bolt's cam track are often not straight or lack full penetration) sloppy stamping and painted finishes that look like they were applied with a floor mop. No kidding, they were considered "parts guns" (As in you bought one to keep your Howa or Costa Mesa gun running) for quite a while.

In it's defense, the AR-18 was intended to be stupidly cheap. Pretty much disposable.

Auto sear/Sear trip, especially so. Saw more than a few with the "H" piece at the rear of the receiver , knocked loose. And "E clips, Everywhere".

Not wanting to scotch any other's work, but I've seen a ton of offerings. Which is why I now fix forklifts for a living. let that sink in.
