    Good God, Arab Spring feels like only a year or 2 ago but it was already 6 years ago? Christ man, this shit just never ends. I almost can't tell if the entire thing was an accident that fell into the neocons/globalists lap or was entirely orchestrated. Probably some of both. Has there been any stable country to make it through this? I don't hear about Tunisia at all and it wasn't on our list of countries we bombed last year so that's a positive right? Reminds me of late Roman Republican foreign diplomacy that was primarily handled by senators posturing and threatening to make themselves look good in the next elections. Since they were also able to whip out legions almost at leisure they don't superficially seem much different either.

    Thanks, I knew there were some issues with the rhetoric being used in the video to "gloss over" things but since I'm not that well versed on the Syrian conflict I can't definitively deny it. Interesting about the CIA black sites. Wasn't that our first big agreement with Libya too? That we would use them to host secret prisons and run torture programs? Boy, seems anyone who works with us in that regard needs to watch their back.

I understand there's a narrative at play with this but what are the issues with them as presented here? Some people are just desperate for anything. I feel like Infowars has won the "culture" war of news media since every fucking news outlet has become fan fiction stage for ideologues. Well it doesn't involve droning brown people and wedding processions so it figures it wouldn't be their forte.

    Malik is a goddamn national treasure. About the funniest I saw was when he asked what traps are. You know, there was a time when I just laughed at all the "Great Meme War" memes. There was also time where I didn't think this timeline could get any stupider. Both times are past I guess.

    I've found myself drifting from disappointed optimist to realizing how much of a rerun of the Bush administration we got in a lot of ways. I'm just unsure how much of that was Obama himself or the administrative inertia of the bureaucratic Washington machine.

    Both. Trump isn't as stupid as people want to believe and he'd have to be a drooling chromosomal nightmare to not realize how effective just riffing during a speech is for distracting a media whose main purpose is to bring in those sweet sweet ad dollars.

    He wasn't even that harsh. He said people who make up news stories are enemies of the people. He didn't even specify anyone, it could have very well have come out of Donna Brazile's mouth word for word and MSNBC would have been running it like it was a grand statement of resistance against Trump. This kind of two faced moral standard is just going to help Trump in the long run.

When a humble water filter merchant in an armed compound in Texas can rival your Multi-Billion dollar advertisement platform's media reach you're done. Finished. Dead. Their nightmare has come true.
