Yeah, all three crew members are in a capsule at the front of the hull - it's not like the PzH2000 where a loader is still needed inside the turret to manually load propellant charge(s). That autoloader arm swings 90° downwards to fetch the shell (positioned vertically on the centerline by a robotic cradle that collects rounds from the left- and right-side hull vertical carousels), aligns itself with the breech, rams the shell into the chamber then shifts downwards so that the MACS propellant charge(s) can be rammed in, too.
On the XM2001, the 26 or so storage tubes in the turret bustle contained 208 MACS propellant charges, i.e. 8 per tube. Those could be robotically resupplied by the feeding boom of the XM2002 RSV, which connected to a hatch built into the back of the turret and fed the ammo through it without the need for a crewmember to step out for assistance and/or supervision. All of that could be done with both vehicle crews buttoned down.

Leopard 1BE measurements at Gunfire museum (July 22).
Mantlet was not really doable due to time constraints.
Leopard 1A5BE MEXAS light skirts were ~20mm, had a "plywood" texture, probably some type of aramid composite as it was quite heavy.
LFP add-on thickness: 140mm
UFP add-on thickness: 105mm
Turret left side add-on was 260mm LOS, not including stand-off, only the vertical angle.
The add-on on the hull was made of a single thin steel plate, about 6mm, with some kind of foam backer, probably PU foam, roughly 20-30mm thick and "brittle" to the touch.
Variance of about 2mm due to paint etc.
If anyone knows of a way to improve the chances to measure convex and rough surfaces with a TM-8818 and log them, feel free to share.
@Wiedzmin I might go back for mantlet if needed...

SR(L) 4026 Documents floating around on twitter (would love the rest). 4026 is the Chieftain replacement program that would be fulfilled by CR2. Highlights are only 350KE/650CE for the front hull, a desire for 300KE on the turret roof (??), and the various proposed levels of CR1 upgrade (assuming this is prior to the culling of the CR1 fleet).
CR1 400 seems like they replace the turret with a CR2 turret
CR1 300, 200, 100 seems like varying levels of upgraded CR1 turret and CR1 MIN seems like basic upgrades to the existing turret only (CR2 gun control equipment seemingly optional and no other specific upgrades listed)
Penetration figures are seemingly at 60 degrees, point blank.
