Bought new PC (great timing with all those sanctions and exchange rate going crazy). Decided to play all the Crysis games. I played 1st, addon and 2nd one years ago, never got my hands on 3rd one.
Oh yeah, destructuble trees.
I like how AI have special animation to react at objects moving to fast near them.
Also when moving downslope AI moves head to look down, looks more natural
Enemies still have problems with bunching up, like in Far Cry
"Ohoho, nice joke"
Only looks empty
Tank looks decent enough for sci-fi game. Usually those are getting eye-gouging artwork.
In 2007 that was very detailed building interiors. All objects are have physics models, even walls and roofs that you could destroy.
"North Korean" Mi-24 look alikeMe and boats = shit doesn't work
Spooky cemetery, how scary
"Low level" enemies/grunts have special animation when they vault over something - they lose their balance
Bootleft NK nanosuit
Aiming right at this enemy nanosuited soldier. A bit easier to see when it moves.
I have 3rd crisis on the 360. It’s pretty fun but the ending is weak imo. It’s definitely a fitting ending, but the final boss shows up and is defeated very quickly, within like 20 minutes. Not sure how much I should spoil, though. -

“US navy ship flies a Jolly Roger; ergo, the US navy is resorting to piracy”Come on m8, we’re (hopefully) all mature enough to see when someone’s being edgy like flying a hammer and sickle on a Russian tank or playing “Rock the Casbah” while invading the Middle East.

family walking behind died, for someone who lived thru 5 russian involved conflict i am not surprised that they would open fire towards enemy while civilian evacuation is ongoing. russian puppets are crying that ukrainians dont allow people to leave, yes they allow and want to but cant.
loooser can you let me know why the hell people from leningrad are coming in georgia? so many of them, its like little russia over here, and all of them are wearing ukrainian flags.
One sided news is one sided. People have a reason to flex their hate boners, and by god are they making it obvious.- Jeeps_Guns_Tanks, Sturgeon and Cobras

Does liking parodies of anime count as liking anime? -
This game slaps (pun intended ). Very fun and satisfying. -

I think these cages are actually useful against NLAWs due to NLAWs fly pattern (look closer you will find out those turret top ERAs didn't suffer much of a damage, I could be wrong), but maybe kind of useless against Javleins? Besides, I didn't see a single Javelin launch video or UKR troop carrying Javelins over the internet yet... I wonder did they ever managed to use those?
How long have they had those javelins? I only heard about them recently, and if no one is trained with them (and they are complex systems) then we might not see them yet. -
Saw a lot of activity here, and got curious. Though I’m not surprised, I am saddened that it smells like shit in here.

I do wonder, does the lynx have decoupled running gear like the Puma? I can’t find anything about it other than “lynx is highly modular”, but it only references her kf31 and 41 variants as proof… the Bradley is highly modular if that’s the measure they use.

Yuri Pasholok's photos of Object 781 variant B. According to placard it had crew of 7 (!).
Turret weapons same as on BMP-3 (100 mm 2A70 gun-launcher + 30 mm 2A72 AC+ PKT) + 30 mm Balkan AGL + PKT in RCWS. Add here AGL in hull + 2 MG gunners on hull sides, vehicle was capable of firing at 6 directions in the same time.
Hull is modded T-72 chassis.
Turret layout reminds me of begleitpanzer, though reversed. Any reason they chose to drop one side but not the other side? -

Yeah, I never quite understood the hype surrounding light tanks based on IFV hulls. if you want a tank in the 40-50 tonnes range, there are modernized T-72s, and the Type-10 looks like the better Western option. If you want an actual proper light tank, there is BAE’s MPF proposal and Sprut-SD/SDM1. If you want your tanks and IFVs to be on the same chassis, you either go heavy or you go home imo. The medium weight concept is not going to work out very well (this concept was looked at by the Norwegian Army a few years ago, and ultimately rejected in favour of acquiring new MBTs).

You’re not only facing the highest threat but the whole one which starts with rifles.
The more you can face, the better this is.
It’s not that bad an idea from a parts commonality stand point: same engine, road wheels, tracks, and modular armor would make logistics and maintenance fairly easy. But I agree, the uses for this lynx are probably niche at best. -

This is something that have always pissed me off.
We waste huge amounts of money and ressources on wind turbines and photovoltaic panels while their benefits are marginal given that power storage for electrical applications is not (and never will be) efficient, because physics.
On the other hand we have untapped available tidal power, which is perfectly predictable decades in advance and could easily pair up with existing nuclear hydraulic power plants.
Load following on nuclear power plants is not a common thing to do (most country simply use them at full power the whole time) but it's far from impossible (EDF have been doing it for decades).
If I remember correctly, the potential both in the UK and in France is about 3 GW each (roughly equivalent to 3 nuclear plants) and 12,5 GW for the whole Europe.
It certainly won't solve the issue by itself but there absolutely no reason not to tap into that power for rich country that can afford it.
As a counter point, wind turbines kill many many birds, and tidal turbines will probably be just as deadly to ocean life, some of which is already struggling due to over-fishing and pollution in general. That is, of course, if it’s built like a wind turbine, and not like some kind of tidal dam, but the locations you can build tidal dams is limited, and could still pose risks with fish finding their way into the turbines. -

Oh, yeah, this one as well. Didn't heard from this game in years.
Glad I’m not the only one who remembers that game, but:7 hours ago, Alzoc said:To be fair, while the concept was great (like a SupCom on steroids) the gameplay quickly became very bland and the lack of narrative campaign didn't help.
Could have been great in multiplayer but it never really had the player base to do so.
I found it’s problems lied more in it being an RTS with 4 fronts (air, land, sea, space), which is 33(.333)% more to deal with than your normal game like command and conquer. Just a little too much to keep track of and deal with.

For the Evo’s and other AMAP 2A4s, do they reinforce the gunner sight cut out?

The trailer was 15 tons over weight. This doesn't have anything to do with the tank itself.
I doubt the trailer is 15 tons sans cargo, though… Leo2NO is probably overweight.

If there’s going to be a regime change, the best thing that could happen is everyone else staying out of it, so we don’t continue this problem of “foreign powers are swaying elections” that got us into this shit. I doubt that will happen, because international politics leave something to be desired, but I can hope.
