  1. No the follow-on after that is suppose to be a lot more substantial.
  2. Was just pointing out how hard automated systems are. The K9A2 and Koalitsiya look like they're shaping up to be pretty great systems. Then again there's always the XM2001, so these systems aren't particularly ground breaking.
  3. I guess we'll have to see if this system lives up to expectations or not. The archer comes to mind for sub-par automated systems.
  4. So a trash can on a conscript's head? I'd figure the coordinates would be shared by the command center and the firing solution would be created automatically. I'd imagine this is going to be using Topgun since massed artillery and urban environments don't mix well together.
  5. How automated of a turret are we talking here?
  6. What's going on in the first picture? What's going on in this one?
  7. Mortar? Those radar panels seem like they're positioned weirdly.
  8. A license usually includes a transfer of technology for a fee and the promise to not sell it abroad. So, if a crisis happens Israel at worst wouldn't be able to export it and only use it domestically.

  10. Maybe that's because it hasn't been given yet. Wasn't there a US proposed joint Indo-Israeli-American IFV/AFV project?
  11. Hence why I asked about licensing, which you usually have trouble revoking after you handover the specs and collect your fee. And since the Sunnis are now in the same corner of the ring as the Israelis the Europeans would be under very little pressure. Didn't they usually cut off deliveries because they wanted to maintain their Gulf clients?
