There was like a doc about the Pak/Kwk 40 against the T-34 and it had a T-34 A and a T-34 B, does anyone have that doc? Thanks in advance, sure that someone has it. -
What the Hell is the Point of Interleaved Road Wheels?
Pascal replied to Collimatrix's topic in Mechanized Warfare
Yeah i know about the british tanks, i just noted that the bumpy ride was on the fault of missing shock absorbers in a t-34 not the suspension. -
What the Hell is the Point of Interleaved Road Wheels?

That "i felt almost every bump on the road" doesn't look like a Christie suspension problem, more like "not having any shock absorbers" problem. -

Terror Attacks and Active Shooter Events Thread
Pascal replied to Donward's topic in Open Discussion
Forgot to add to the list, universal healthcare. Well if ethnic cleansing doesn't sound 'progressive', lets change ethnic with social class, as in social class cleansing, sounds even more 'progressive'. If that doesn't sound 'progressive' lets add ecologist, environmentalist, animal welfare tendencies to the pot, pretty 'progressive'. Deportation and incarceration by ethnicity, pretty 'progressive'. More on 'progressiveness'. The Secret History of a Mutual Admiration Society Charles Murray's Law though, as in welfare programs cannot be successful and should be removed. -

Terror Attacks and Active Shooter Events Thread
Pascal replied to Donward's topic in Open Discussion
Not Antifa, but sure that the lefty media got a second wind when they knew that both shooters were white. But it indeed got quickly memory holed when information of both shooters regarding their 'progressiveness' appeared, only the words 'white nationalist' still echo. The Ohio shooter though has fondness for Antifa, also considers the guy who attacked the ICE detention center a martyr. I really didn't see anything Republican related. If i understood right, the 'both sides' meaning. El Paso one, is a white nationalist socialist, universal income but first removing some other millions of people first, environmental terrorism, confederacy of territories with at least 1 territory for each race. No wonder there's a back peddle on that, plus ignoring and calling that manifesto a fake, "progressive" history just spills out of it. That bomb disposal robot though. -

Patient to what, selective reading? You cherry picking quotes from the same sources you post, makes me laugh too. Oh wow, you still believe that. You don't have any problems in comparing the TAS-5 and the Mulat-115? -

In that page, it's just examples as to how to hold the rifle prone and how to hold the rifle while shooting air targets. I think it's just so the short handed dudes could see that it's ok to grab it not primarily by the handguard. Hell, i couldn't grab the AK normally by the handguard while prone, so only magazine hold for me in prone.

Those authors were people from different kind of institution regarding research and development in regards to armored vehicles, so they are right in the case regarding the armor. I have seen other people saying, that's bollocks regarding to armor. Interesting thing is that no one is wrong actually, it's a simple big misunderstanding which i don't know were it came from, maybe translation problems who knows. It goes more like this: BMP-3 armor is close to that of (as a bit worse, but close to the better) M2A1 ifv at a lower weight. A pretty big generalization in most description around the web, were just two words make a difference, close and M2A1. The armor on the М-113А1 APC, aluminum alloy mark 5083 of 43 mm can be damaged by 7.62 B32 at distances under 100m. When armor is tested against weapons with a high rate of fire, the ДПКП is used, meaning damage which can occur on the armored plate be it cracks, penetrations, spall, etc at the distances shown.
