Javelins and NLAW on both sides as captured gear gets transfered to Donbas militias Russian manual on Javelin https://vk.com/doc578708034_632152242?hash=ac5ff774d7fd534941&dl=497e5263594ac6b29a https://vk.com/video-77993266_456250393 -

Indeed mostly FAB and Unguided rockets point blank. https://vk.com/video-160233565_456239930 -
Javelin actually dropping down onto a target many other missiles just have top attack warheads but only fly 1-1.5 meter above the target so are susceptible to many hard kill systems even those without much of an angular capability.. Javelin trajectories Top attack warhead

Trophy has top defense capability so could intercept a Javelin and likes ,but aside from tanks with active defense western tanks would burn just the same as Russian ones , an only one that wouldn't blow the turret is M1 as its the only one with all ammo separated and protected from crew compartment.

Lack of precision guided munitions , means lot of old fashioned CAS at low level with all the dangers it entails -
Euro drone male seems like total BS project that is in some ways to large to be an attritional piece of gear offers little in capability over much smaller drones and is typical of joined euro projects ends up overpriced and under delivering.

While i am for not buying made in US , like you point out multinational projects in Eu tend to turn out to be turds, in the end the most successful projects are those that one or the other country developed more or less alone. Europeanising made in US often ends even bigger turd (Euro Global Hawk drone) ,besides optronics i dont see much EU could swap for own on Apache. Apache with ITEP engines will likely have much more capability ,Fara projects in US will have all the capability Tiger has even tough is single engined scout

Bizzare that even VDV has barely any optics on their rifles. Only ones with some seem to be the Chechens -
Tiger turned out to be a failure , and an obsolete design the day it rolled of the production line. scrap it make something new or get a licence for Apache and make EuroApache if we must.

For now its still not happening and according to OSCE stats its still mostly Ukrainians shelling the separatists or they are shelling themselves (not certain how that works ou). At one point they will either have to stop or the scenario LooSeR is implying will unfold The 14.500+ killed likely follow much the similar pattern as these stats show. -

StuG III Thread (and also other German vehicles I guess)
mr.T replied to EnsignExpendable's topic in Mechanized Warfare
SK105 is good example of light tank hull size for around 20t if it doesn't need to float ,oscillating turret is higher than a conventional one. So it doest seem anyone is even trying to make a light tank . -

Looks like hull alone is about as high as an western MBT Lynx 120 looks like its built on the KF41 Leo2 side by side with the smaller KF31 ,KF41 absolutely dwarfs the MBT even before you stick on the 120mm gun turret. -

Imagine some east europeans , buying this and getting a vehicle that has much less protection and firepower (low pressure derivative of the Leopard 2 gun) at the weight pushing that of a T72 only advantage is the modern optronics and of course with a price that way above T72 they currently use. Also what is the plan with RWS being obstructed in frontal arc by the panoramic commanders sight. -
Seems like the promo for the ME crowd Salvo firing against Merkava mockup , showcasing how it could get trough APS

This thing looks way better than boomerang and it seems is also packing larger troop compartment in smaller chassis. Of course access to Western drivetrains makes 8x8 development much easyer as the drive trains use many COTS components.
