  1. Thanks to the judges for their assessement ! It was a lot of fun making this proposal, and to watch everybody else's tank move forward.
  2. 1- they are against light threat: 1.85"RHAe in the frontal portion, 1.1" RHAe in the rear portion, 0.75" RHAe on the top 2- not sure if sponsons are counted as in hull, as the sponsons are modeled as part of the base hull, and not just suspended outside Anyhow, there is space in the engine compartment for (non modeled) back up tanks

The design also emphasises ease of maintenance and upgradability, making it the ideal vehicle for the current as well as the next fight. The FV601 is offered in two configurations: a base configuration, which was designed to achieve every requirement and counter the current threats of the battlefield while offering ample room for upgrades; an add-on FIBUA (Fighting In Built Up Areas) kit, to be installed on vehicles deployed in an area of operation where heavy urban fighting is to be expected. The FIBUA kit can be added to any base configuration “Cossack” in the field in a few hours, not requiring more than hand tools (except the installations of the barrel, requiring light engineering support). 4. The main problem might be that astoundingly weak engine, 700kw for a 50t vehicle is way too low in 2020
  5. I'm actually interested in this. For example, if a round penetrates the crew comptartment, but to immediately get absorbed by something non essential, do we consider that simply entering the crew compartment generate enough spall? And if so, what kind of spall cone can we expect?
  6. Hello everyone! I'd like you all to formally meet the FV601 Cossack, here in it's three configurations (from left to right): Heavy Armour, base configuration and FIBUA add-on kit.
