  1. A 25 minute documentary on the joint training exercise that the US and South Korea had during the Warrior Shield FTX exercises held earlier this year. The Korean Division shown was that of the Capital Mechanized Infantry Division and it's K1A2s of the 81st Tank Battalion and K9A1s of the 61st Artillery Battalion.
  2. Fairly recent pictures of K2s during mobility tests at the Hyundai Rotem Facility in Changwon.
  3. Most likely a placeholder “design” (if I can even dare to say something like that. It’s basically just the radar face’s shapes placed along the rear aspect.). My guess is no practical design has been mocked up or prototyped, just this proof of concept.
  4. K2 Trophy APS demonstrator mockup. These photos were from a military event that happened at the end of March. (Photos taken by https://twitter.com/parksunhaaa)
  5. A proposed ERA-equipped K1A1. As you can see by the text this proposal was for the Thai Main Battle Tank program where Hyundai Rotem proposed a "K1A1-TH" where one of the possible upgrades made would have been equipping the K1A1 with ERA to enhance it's armor protection.
  6. 1999 footage of a ROK armor maintenance workshop
  7. Polish K2GF and K9A1s of the 16 Dywizja Zmechanizowana (20 Brygada Zmechanizowana K2GFs and 1 Mazurska Brygada Artylerii K9A1s) during a recent demonstration for the President and Deputy Prime Minister of Poland held at the Orzysz Military Training Ground. K2GF K9A1
  8. ROKMC and USMC joint amphibious landing training carried out along the coastline of Pohang. These photos show the KAAV-7A1 with the manned combined 40/50 turret as well as the KAAV-7A1s with the RCWS which has become more common in recent years. You can also see the relatively rare ROKMC K1A2s unloaded from LSTs as well. KAAV-7A1 K1A2
  9. The 8th Army Corp during a large combined arms training in the Gangwon-do province. K1E1s and K288s are shown in these pictures.
  10. 3rd Engineer Brigade K600 CEV during obstacle removal training
  11. A continuation from the post above, though I was able to find photos that have clear shots of the M48A5K2s that were present for this specific exercise.
  12. The 28th Infantry Division participating in the Freedom Shield 2 Exercise had it's K9s, K55A1s, and K10s (along with other vehicles) traverse a shallow river near Buksam Bridge, Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do. Other vehicles such as the K221, K1 ARV, and M48A5K were present but other than some footage showing them in the background, no photos I've seen were taken of them.
  13. K1s of the 12th Infantry Division during an exercise traversing the frozen tributary of Inbukcheon, February 2023.
  14. Just as a quick note the Redback on display seems to have an Iron Vision module attached on the turret. As far as I am aware this is the first time we've seen the Redback fitted with the Iron Vision system (A similar module was seen equipped to the ASCOD 2 demonstrator).
  15. Lynx IFV and CSV at Avalon 2023 Redback from the same
  16. ROK Army M47s during a training exercise sometime in 1978
  17. K9A1s of the Polish 1st Masurian Artillery Brigade during a demonstration for the ROK Minister of Defense, Lee Jong-sup, and Polish Minister of Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak.
  18. As far as I am aware the 7 wheeled chassis variant is still "around" but it's hard to say what the case may be for the lack of the larger, heavier version, being the K2M/PL, being absent from most of the recent marketing but could just be the case of since the design was initially intended for Poland's needs, now that it's been all but confirmed to be left to the wayside in it's "home" country it's more pertinent to market a design that is not only less radical of a change but also potentially easier to market to other countries.
  19. ROK 51st Infantry Division utilizing the K116, M40 equipped, light utility vehicle during a recent training, February, 2023.
  20. K1E1s of the 3rd Armored Brigade during urban training at the KCTC.
