HOW ABOUT FUCKING WEARING A SUIT THAT FITS??? And try taking off that God awful sweater made out of two inches of wool, harvested from some sheep that has spent its entire life living on the Orkney Island. No wonder why the suit is uncomfortable.
 
Suits make you look sharp and like a god damn grown up. Oh no, we can't have that!
 
You know what else suits are good for? Keeping all kinds of shit in. I can carry two full Beretta 92F magazines in the pockets of my suits and it looks great. And because I'm fucking wearing a suit, that means I can actually carry a full size semi-automatic handgun on my person almost anywhere and I won't print i.e. I won't be spotted carrying it. On top of fucking THAT, I can carry a flashlight in suit, cigarette lighter and other paraphernalia while going out to a show. 
 
On top of that, since I'm wearing a suit, that means I can wear a fucking trenchcoat and not look like some fucking neckbeard, fedora wearing hipster. And since I buy quality items, my trenchcoat can keep me fucking warm AND dry when I walk about downtown Seattle in the winter (spring or fall) when it is cold, gloomy and foggy and not be fucking soaked or freezing.

At one point the Leopard 2 was going to have a backup coincidence rangefinder in addition to the laser.  Given the proliferation of laser warning systems and the flat trajectory of APFSDS, I think this may be an idea whose time has come again.

As far as I am aware, you simply use a longer swing arm if you want longer travel. However, considering that you can't have 1000 mm of travel because of obvious reasons, you need better dampening, which is where the actual performance of the suspension comes in.  The reason why the Challenger II has less travel is because it does not need it. The better dampening compensates for it. 
Think about how the recoil mechanism of a gun works.

How? 
As long as you can adjust the pressure of the hydraulic line, it should not really add anything to the system. 
AFV manufactures keep advertising their "open architecture high speed networked" AFVs. 
This means that all the subsystems are networked together.  No additional wiring needed between the FCS and main computer, and no extra needed wiring between the main computer and suspension control unit. 
If not, I would honestly fire the engineer in charge of these systems for incompetency.  Or straight out reject the AFV as a costumer. 
The rest is just code:

By inputting the value 80, meaning 30 degrees C ( -50 C becomes 50, and 30 C becomes 30, 50 + 30 = 80), and the adjustment value, which would be the expansion ratio of the gas compered to the temperature.
I set it to a arbitrary 0.1, which would make the function output 8, as in 8 mm increase in the suspension height.  This would then be feed into a the controller of the suspension, which would adjust accordingly. 
Actually, the entire code above would probably be integrated into the ride height programming. 
This was coded in Python, for those who want to know the syntax. 
This is not really complex. Digital programming does not really break down faster because of more complexity.
 
Or you can use a virtual PID regulator. It would be better. 
 

Well, you're right to a point...the IMI 60mm gun was a capable gun as well. The Super 75, however, fired a DU SABOT round that enabled these light platforms to knockout MBTs from the front, at normal combat ranges...there was no need to close to 500-1000 meters. These formerly classified pics show the result of such a hit with a penetrator the size of a standard pencil. The T-54 burned for three days...    

The ELKE test bed like many of its experimental cousins mounted the ARES "Super 75" 75mm main gun. This was an impressive gun with performance above and beyond what was expected from it's size. I am highly skeptical to this law.  Considering all the policing, witch hunts, smear campaigns and the "It is a automated system, therefor, we are not actually acting like a Totalitarian police state with very vague rules to allow us to ban indiscreetly anyone we like , it is just some bugs ;)" we see in mayor social media platforms. But the OICW was pushed because studies showed how effective, in theory, programmable air bursting fragmentation rounds would be. Unfortunately, the OICW was an overly heavy and complicated weapon, much too large. The stripped down version of the grenade launcher part, the XM25, not only were the 25mm rounds too expensive, but they had horrifically small kill radius, basically 1 meter or less. Not worth the money, not effective enough. 
 
But I think it points toward the future. The present incarnation is crap, but the concept works.
